bit despondent and shy and somehow irritatingly bland to me, I don't know I just didn't like his overal design. Hiro is much more likeable, for a change (after Claude and Alex), although both have similar hearts and aspirations. I don;t know why, he's bolder perhaps, more fiery. But both games are good, though the first part is possibly more powerful in terms of message and resonance. The second part is just good but both have very good supporting characters.

So how's the Crown Prince these days? :D

I don;t really like English dub at all. I never watch anime with English dub if I can avoid it. Female voices in particular tend to be overdone.

I think Hidorikawa-san also did voicing for Lunar: Eternal Blue Complete. I'd love to play that with Japanese dub some day because I think the character fits that voice. I"m pretty sure game makers were in a bit of a bind because Hijikata route is probably long and ardous so how can you make him just die? But then how can you make it so you don't compromise the feel of the story entirely. I pity then, that's why perhaps otome games based on historical figures are difficut to pull off unless the figures had a long life, like Saito. There is a bid to make endings not cliche and that's great but there is always that regret that a bitteersweet ending doesn't have to mean an impeding death. I guess that's why I liked ending to Princess Man, that was a really nice bittersweet ending. With any other actor than PSH I would have been all over it.

I think Haruka Ayase is not the est choice for a taiga drama, she doeasn;t have a very strong presence to me and to be honest I find her acting too strained. There are times when it fits, like Hotaru no Hkari but most of the time she just doeasn't feel right. So I was deliberating watching Yae but I probably won't. I was disappointed enough with Ueno Yuri in Gou, she also felt completely miscast. I'd rather see Mitsushima Hikari take on a taiga role and see what would happen then, she's talented.

Your explanations make sense for the abruptness of the anime ending then (yes second season especially) but it;s still leaves a little bit of regret. Just like with Ryoma-san, I feel exactly the same way for Hijikata in a romantic context. We talked about this before

He was, wasn't he? He attracted me a lot in Niji wo Kakeru as well, that's what made me interested in him so much. Though I'm pretty sure some details of the story were changed. I think Ayano Go could play someone long-haired :P I was thinking that maybe some of the cast from the rouroni Kenshin could actually fit the bill.

I kind of regret he makes some really reckless decisions that may lead to that sort of ending. He takes such a long time to open up, too. I guess the game makers were wise to do a sort of happy ending for his route, even if it's short-lived, it's probably still worth it. The anime should have taken heed of that it really was cut off at the end.

He's a terribly attractive character, I hate to admit and when he opens up, he opens up completely to Cizuru. Ah well, least the game seems to be a bit wiser on the ending than anime, the ending in anime is way too abrupt. There is a different version of the game though, that seems to be more focused on the otome parts. It's called Zuisurouku but

The problem with Hazuki is that he's really snobbish though and I find his demeanour offputting mostly. Even though I believe he is voiced by Tamahome seiyuu. Speaking of which I believe the same guys also voice Akihiko, which is interesting. I do like his voice for some reason.


Well, given the story, I think it makes sense that they can't have a happily ever after fortoo long though they can have a romantic happy ending. I remember ayashi no Ceres too- so much drama but a bittersweet ending, if we're talking that kind of ending, I guess it's fine. I kind of like Hijikata a lot in the anime so >>>

Yes, exactly, this is the kind of thing you can expect from any TvN romcom: second likeable lead needs to stsy the heck away XD and couples in ER are kind of determined since you know it will be a story if reconciliation

I have no idea who could do a live version of any of those. Maybe okada Junichi would fit one of those types, he usually plays strict serious types anyway? But then not necessarily. I confess I can't think of anyone that would eel right. Do you have any suggestions?

:P There's a date event where he chops you I think. I should try that then. Not a very bog margin, but it surprised me a little. It was like one date was enough to bring him back to tokimeki state. Oh I always ignore any other guy until he has a bomb ticking. Frankly they don;t seem to care for a very long time if you don't start to pay attention to them. Once you start paying attention, they become like leechers. Especially Shiba and Hikami, they had the most bombs on my Saeki route 0.0. Followed by Chris and Amachi. Yes, Saeki leaving has something to do with the cafe, you're absolutely spot on :)

Have you played hakuoki by any chance? I've been watching the anime lately. i absolutely love the romance there. I think I heard the game has a slightly happier eding than the anime, though, well in the canon pairing ending that is. Is that true? Hijikata is something else and the characters there seem to be rather fleshed out. I really felt sorry about the ending of the anime though, even though he chose to have a death sentence hanging

It looks quite good aww, there are some typos. I think it's a nice read overall but you can reedit it a bit and rephrase some things. Other than that, this is creative.

Zgoda, ale Koreanczycy lubia dramy ostatecznie :P Ale w sumie sa tez w stanie zrobic filmy ktore nie usprawiedliwiaja przesladowcow, jak w Crucible. Nie widzialam tam usprawiedliwnie dla lrzywdzenia dzieci a jest to cos co jest najgorszym mozliwym zwyrodnieniem.

Z drugiej strony moze i jest w tym pewna hipokryzja, ze pokazuja cos co mozna odebrac jako usprawiedleiwnie zla w jakims celu, np :zly moze sie zmienic" zeby dac jakas nadzieje ze nie wszystko do konca zle co postepuje bez zasad moralnych. Ot, debata na ktora i poeci nie znaja odpwiedzi. Unde malum?
