I’m left feeling very underwhelmed which is unfortunate. It wasn’t terrible or I would have dropped it long before this episode but I’ll probably never watch it again. The leads are both cute but the plot was all over the place.
I’m still stuck on the “kissing lesson” in ep. 2. Everything about it is just perfect. I think I’ve watched that scene at least twenty times. Please send help! 😄
To anyone who decides this show isn't for them and drops it: This isn't an airport; you don't need to announce your departure. I'm enjoying it for the chaotic mess that it is. Also, please remember that this is fiction and as such it shouldn't be taken that seriously!
Does any work actually get done in this office?! 😆 The Penny/June scene lasted longer than I expected.
Sorn is so gone for Jun; that kiss on the forehead says so much! ❤️ Also, he basically does whatever Jun wants - like eating at that restaurant or having breakfast on the couch rather than at the dining room table. It’s so obvious that he yearns to be close to Jun emotionally. He also looked unhappy with Jun said his dad wanted to “pay” Sorn for letting Jun stay with him. Meanwhile Jun remains mostly oblivious, treating Sorn with casual disregard the way he always has. I love it.
I knew Soren would show up at June’s door. 😒 If I were Jun my only reaction would be a slap or punch and then the door would slam in Soren’s face. Messing with Jun’s work assignment is so wrong. That’s not just a harmless prank; it undermines Jun’s performance. I can’t wait for the episode when Jun lets Soren have it and cuts everything with him. I need to see Soren suffer, because an apology just isn’t enough.
Did I love the NC scene in the beginning? Yes! I was annoyed by the disappearing and reappearing hickey, though. Make-up artists, please be consistent! Still, I’m happy that we’ve gotten an NC scene in every episode. 😁
for inter fans, I wish they'd just leave Hia and P alone. subbing them as brother, makes the subs feel awkward…
I don't like it when Hia and P are translated as "brother", because the relationship is not being represented correctly. Leave it as Hia and P; anyone who doesn't know about Thai honorifics can Google it or ask here.
Me after Sorn was staring at the shoe box: "OMG, how long have you liked Jun, Sorn?!" Then of course, Jun gets the wrong idea and accuses Sorn of wanting to take the shoes back! I just want to knock both their heads together. And not that I'm keeping score or anything, but those sensual/sexual scenes have been in every episode so far! No complaints here.
My Sunday mornings used to be reserved for "Your Sky"; now they're reserved for "My Stubborn" (the total opposite of "Your Sky", right down to the title!). Yes, my BL preferences vary a lot!
The production cost is already showing in the high quality of the sets, different settings, excellent audio, etc. So many sponsors = lots of product placement (seaweed snack from Thailand, anyone?), but it’s entirely worth it. I’m really enjoying this so far - and we got a “kiss” in the first episode!
My eyes were very wide in the beginning, I’m not gonna lie! The episode became more intriguing and I was laughing at that dual make out scene when Jun and Soren were sneaking peeks at each other the whole time. That scene gave the same vibes as two people locking eyes even as they’re dancing with their supposed dates. I started out wondering if this series is for me, and now I’m going to stick around for a while to see what happens.
I can't believe he was kidnapped twice! The writers were really reaching (this series could have been 6 or 8 episodes and nothing would be missing). It's nice, though, that our side couple is together and happy.
I'm annoyed; I was in Tang's corner up until this episode - but his trauma doesn't give him free license to act like that. He didn't even say, "Thank you; I appreciate the thought"! Argh. I'd openly start rooting for Ian, but I know that's not going to go anywhere. *sigh*
I'm honestly liking this show. From the very beginning when it took twenty people to kidnap one musician (aren't kidnappings supposed to be stealthy and silent?), I realized I'd have to turn my brain off or I'd get upset. I realize this show is full of tropes and silly misunderstandings that could be cleared up with a five-minute conversation, but there aren't that many episodes so I find it easy to watch, and I like both couples.
What bothered me the most about this episode is Cir not leaving Phu alone for a few days. Phu was very angry and hurt at Cir’s behavior before they knew each other, so why did Cir think it would be a good idea to sit outside Phu’s condo door indefinitely? That aside, I’m happy no one was kidnapped. (That’s another plot device Mame uses.) I didn’t love this series as much as LITA, but I liked it very much and I’m sad it’s over.
It finally happened; Mame made me cry! 🤧😢This episode explains so much - and poor Phukan’s devastation at realizing the present P’Cir isn’t his P’Cir. Awww, can’t wait until the next episode!
I enjoyed this a lot, because I loved the way each couple got to know each other and grow closer, even if it was initially under false pretenses. I realized very early on that I'd have to turn off all logic or I'd just end up frustrated and annoyed with the obvious plot holes. I also appreciated that both couples were still affectionate even after they got together, like any real couple would be. This show and "Kidnap" may have promised action but delivered more romance, but I liked it. On the other hand, "Jack and Joker" didn't work for me, because there was too much violence and not enough of Jack and Joke falling in love or being in love. I'm always here for the romance, though!
i have so much to say!! i had a straight face throughout this entire episode because of how much i hate that idols…
I agree with most of what you've written. The problem with BL is in the marketing; actors are expected to keep the "pair illusion" to promote the show, which misleads fans deliberately. I get annoyed by fans who say, "Their chemistry is so great, they must be a real couple!" No, that's not how it works. These men are *actors*. That's their job - to make us believe the chemistry is real even outside the filming. I couldn't care less if they're in a relationship; it has nothing to do with the characters they're portraying. I'm also annoyed when these actors are questioned about their sexuality, because honestly? It's none of our business! The BL and idol industries have a lot to answer for, because they deliberately treat their actors and idols like a commodity and who cares about the fallout?
OMG, I'm going to begin calling this the BJ Series! LOL. (Honestly, when the dialog starts to get boring or weird, I just gaze at Boss. That man is just so beautiful!)
