Episode 4 was interesting. If Armin really was a brand new actor who didn’t know how showbiz works, he probably would’ve accepted Tada’s explanation. However, he has been in the business for 25 years and he has seen actors being used, etc. so it’s only natural he would think the worst in this situation. I feel bad for both of them.

Me being me, of course I had to go back to the very beginning of episode 1 and watch THAT scene again, with the knowledge that Sorn already liked Jun. The kissing, the possessive way Sorn was holding Jun… It was almost like Sorn forgot the whole purpose because uh, one hand wasn’t where it should have been! Their chemistry just flows; I really hope we see Boat and Oat act together again.

Well, Sorn still is who he is with all the finesse of a bull in a china shop. He’s trying to do better in his own limited way. I’m actually glad he didn’t have a complete personality switch and besides, Jun started liking Sorn just the way he is. Hopefully Jun will keep Sorn in line a little (Jun has always had more power in this relationship than he originally thought).

When Sorn and Jun first talked and Sorn was being evasive, I was yelling: “Tell him how long you’ve liked him!” So far this series has followed the novel very closely and I’m very happy about that.

You should be writing scripts! I don’t think there’s enough time left for all of the groveling you described so eloquently. I really want them back together by the end of the next episode so we can see how they develop as a couple in the last two episodes. And also, more NC scenes, please!

Jun wasn't whining. He can see that Sorn is acting like he's in love (getting jealous, tracking Jun's every move, etc.) but Sorn won't say it. Much of their encounters in this episode were Jun pushing Sorn to admit how he really feels (and of course, Sorn couldn't at that point). Jun has every right to call Sorn out on the difference between his words ("We're just f-buddies") vs his behavior ("You're mine"). All of this time Jun has cared for Sorn a lot, but he was trying to act like he didn't. Sorn set those rules, not Jun. Why would Jun act like he's in a committed relationship if Sorn keeps telling him they aren't?

He can't grovel yet, because Jun is hiding from him. (He could absolutely grovel via text but it wouldn't have the same impact as groveling in person.) I'm sure we'll see groveling and tears from Sorn next episode.

Yes, and I hope for the part where Sorn confesses but Jun doesn’t answer right away and then points out, “Now you know how I felt when I said I liked you” (or something like that; hopefully you know what I’m referring to).

I know what you mean, but Jun and Sorn are the strongest couple in this series and I think the show would sag if these two don’t figure it out sooner rather than later. I think this period was ten chapters in the novel?! We don’t have that kind of time.

I love it that Sorn wasn’t even aware he’s brokenhearted! I mean, seriously?!

Also, yelling at Jun, being over the top jealous, the voicemail of “you can’t hide from me forever”… Jun, it’s okay if you stay out of Soren’s orbit for a while! Truthfully Sorn doesn’t deserve to get him back at all but we know it’ll happen. I want Sorn to grovel appropriately and apologize for being such a jerk at the bare minimum.

I want to know who plotted to kill Armin, but of course, we’re probably several episodes away from finding out. Was it one person plotting against him or several?

Tada decided to reveal himself and become a part of Armin’s life after seeing him “die” in that movie. He teared up and told his bodyguard that he wasn’t going to sit on the sidelines of Armin’s life anymore (not exactly what he said but you get the idea). Armin’s superior acting made this happen. 🙂

This is my take on Jun and Soren’s relationship.

Jun is inexperienced. He’s also trying to keep their relationship a secret. This means that he has no one to ask for advice. He can’t exactly ask the guys he’s closest to because they’d figure out it’s Sorn in a hot minute. So he keeps everything inside and tries to deal with Sorn within the parameters that Sorn has set - and he challenges and questions Sorn whenever Sorn steps outside the FWB box. “Why do you care?” etc. Emotions often overrule logic and he can’t help but like Sorn. (They both feel the connection.)

Sorn is drawn to Jun like a moth to a lamp. He knows he “can’t” be with someone younger but he still has zero self control whenever Jun is around. He loves Jun but won’t allow himself to identify it as Love, not even to himself. He still acts in loving ways but hides from his own emotions because to surrender to them is too scary. He’ll need to be shocked out of that - and I suspect losing Jun entirely will be the catalyst. What he has been doing won’t work anymore. It’s pretty clear from the hints we got for next week that Jun is 100% done. Once Sorn opens up and begins to trust Jun (and earn Jun’s trust), these two will thrive as a couple.

I’m ready for the suffering in the meantime! 😁

Sometimes you think you can handle it and then later you find out you really can't. I think that's what Jun is discovering now. It's very confusing for poor Jun, because Sorn is acting like he's madly in love with Jun but then says something else.

Ok, I love the NC scenes as much as anyone but poor Jun was all blotchy and itchy! Sorn should have had him shower - and then during the shower sexy times could begin. The seme is supposed to take care of the uke, yes? This showed a stunning lack of care and now I’m looking forward with great anticipation to seeing Sorn suffer.

I enjoyed this even though the investigation plot made little sense. I’d definitely watch the later episodes again. The leads definitely sell the “we’re a couple in love” energy.
