I wanted to see more moments of Jun being happy with Sorn, but then again, Sorn made up for it with his soft smiles during the conversation with Jun’s dad. I’m very sad this series is over - but at least we’re getting a special episode! Yay!
Rewatching episode 3... That Garden Walk date is my absolute favorite scene of the whole drama so far. It's HILARIOUS…
I love it when WSW is watching an “educational “ video on his phone and CC walks in. The way WSW stares at him in sheer horror and embarrassment while the video keeps playing - and then he fumbles his phone and drops it off the bed altogether! I was laughing so much.
Yes, he did. This is to show how badass he really is and it highlights how his behavior towards WS changes later.…
I’m looking forward to what your take is on it. I got hooked on this series due to a bunch of random You Tube snippets, so I actually started watching at episode 4, then watched 5-8 and then went back to watch 1-3.
TharnType was the same for me; I still rewatch it because of the leads’ amazing chemistry, but I always start at episode 4 because Tharn was so downright creepy at first.

I can understand how you feel, and yes, I did watch TharnType 2 (and it was just as bad as I expected it to be!). You might want to watch at least two more episodes before deciding to drop it. Chi Cheng is a complicated character and this glimpse is only part of who he is.
So... I may be misunderstanding something and granted I have only watched the first episode so far... but did…
Yes, he did. This is to show how badass he really is and it highlights how his behavior towards WS changes later. He’s only soft for his boy and his snakes, that’s it.
I liked this episode and the show in general, but what I’m really going to miss are these comments! Things like “Why is Penny thrusting.? Show us the strap-on!”, “plank sex”… Not to mention the in depth analyses every week! OMG, I‘ll never be the same again! This has been so much fun every week. Thank you, everyone! 🙂
Just saw a video on tiktok discussing the SA in the series and just wanted to share the thoughts I had written…
I agree and I enjoyed your parallels to “My Beautiful Man”, which is one of my favorites. Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei are very naturally creating their own safe space to be real with each other - and that’s why those constant calls from Yue Yue are beginning to sound like a blaring alarm clock when they’ve finally reached a deep and peaceful sleep after tossing and turning all night.
I don’t get people who wants to watch all the episodes at once? Then it will be over in a blink of an eye? 😅…
Both have their benefits. My biggest decision is going to be if I keep watching every episode as it airs or wait for the angsty episodes to air and then binge watch those plus the “everything is ok now” episode all at once. I did this with ThamePo but it was difficult to wait three weeks! I’m not sure I’m strong enough with this show.
Episode 12 had better deliver! I was rather disappointed with 11. It was disjointed and all over the place. I want to see Soren and Jun being happy together. It doesn’t help that I couldn’t care less about the other couples.
What I love is how Wu Suowei’s reactions to Chi Cheng have changed. Did you notice that when he figured out what CC was doing on that phone call, his eyes widened with realization but the knee jerk disgust was completely gone? And that soft smile when CC was lying next to him - well, before he caught himself, of course. Falling in love against his will…. This is so delicious to watch.
Who wants realism? Seriously it warms my heart to see Chi Cheng completely ignore a woman in sexy lingerie IRL…
LOL, yes, I watched My Stubborn. OMG, that beard was hilarious! Your point is well made, but in this instance I like Chi Cheng just the way he is - even though I’d sprint away from him if this was real life!
I love this series, there is one thing im confused by and also would make more sense. I remember in the first…
Who wants realism? Seriously it warms my heart to see Chi Cheng completely ignore a woman in sexy lingerie IRL because he’s too busy looking at photos of his boy on his phone. I like the contrast between the cold way he treats her with total disinterest and disregard vs. Wu Suo Wei’s existence being enough to fully capture Chi Cheng’s full attention. It showcases his growing feelings and it feels very authentic because Chi Cheng obviously isn’t the type to play nice if he doesn’t give a f*ck.
How many of us found this series via You Tube snippets? There I was, innocently minding my own business and suddenly… It was like eating potato chips; I couldn’t stop with just one snippet and finally I had to just give in. I’m completely hooked.
I’m really loving this series so far. The contrast in the way Chi Cheng even LOOKS at his “girlfriend” vs the way he treats Wu Suowei is so telling. He couldn’t care less about her (very ironic when she was the catalyst for this whole situation!) and all but rolls his eyes whenever she calls him.
It seems a lot of you found the line about 'making babies' funny. More power to you. But, as a gay man who's been…
This line came directly from the novel - but that’s no excuse, of course. I get a bit icked out when they talk about the shorter, smaller partner being the “wife”.
