When I began watching this series I sincerely did not think Joong and Dunk were just going to steal the whole show and run away with it. For me, I wasn’t really a fan of their other series, but I have always liked them, and I’m loving them in these roles. This is such an unexpected delight that I can’t help but look forward to watching more.

I’ve always been a sucker for the enemies to lovers trope. But recently, I have found a new favorite, it’s the enemy within to lovers trope. Between this and Jack & Joker and Spare Me Your Mercy, I’ve found my newest guilty pleasure. Yes please and can I have some more.

I just can’t with ambiguous endings that make us have to figure out what we want about the conclusion. Just give me a full story, ending and all. Kan being cuffed and arrested by Wasan, then Wasan giving him a dead petal of “forgiveness “. As the title suggests, there is no mercy being spared.

I completely and thoroughly enjoyed this. Every week I looked forward to watching and it brought me joy and was just fun. The synopsis kinda does this show dirty though. I actually started a couple weeks into the show airing because I didn’t want to watch a love triangle. But from the very beginning, when they were shown as kids, Ju Won and Hae Ju were too much like siblings and it would’ve been really weird to see anything romantic between them. On the other hand, Ju Won and San Ha never felt that way; the unfolding of their relationship felt organic and rooted in caring for another person regardless if they’re related family or not. My one and only qualm is that San Ha’s mother was such a despicable character to me, I skipped over most all her scenes. But well done to the actress, she definitely portrayed the character well; all of the cast did really. I’m feeling sad to let this show go, but also happy of the end.

I love the way they're doing the kisses. First it started off as Minase panicking, then just standing there and…
It was when Minase closed his eyes for the first time during their kiss that did me in.

This show is filling my existence. My purpose in life is currently to await each new episode. This is by far my favorite show I’m watching right now and the one I eagerly look forward to the absolute most. I will be rewatching episode 4 a probably unhealthy amount of times, but I won’t be able to help it. Hirukawa telling Minase he won’t kiss him anymore, but then finding every opportunity to kiss him anyway. Just breaking down walls and fusing boundaries. I have to mention this btw, the show got some shade thrown its way for the tentative kisses early on, but I always felt those kisses were meant to be the smallest beginnings of new feelings. As Minase and Hirukawa have gotten closer, so has their fondness and their intimacy. This show is not only about the kisses though, the story is truly so well done and the actors are smashing it. Can’t wait for next week!

This started out equal parts exciting and sweet, but it felt like over time it ran out of story to tell. But I liked the last episode and how it ended.

This show is my respite. It’s what I look forward to with the utmost fervor. The minutes given each week are never enough but also plenty enough to keep me wanting oh so much more of this story. The ending seems to be promising something bittersweet, but I eagerly await to see if the foreboding foreshadowing could possibly be a more sweet than bitter of an ending than it portends. 🤞

This show has got me smitten. I can’t explain why exactly, but I like it. It’s ridiculous and more often than not just silly, and then overly dramatic the rest of the time, but still, it’s got that little unexplainable something that keeps me watching.

I swear that I swore off these series with episodes that are less than 15 minutes. But dayum My Damn Boss. I couldn’t help but like this and want to keep watching. I completely consider this totally worth the watch. (However short it may be.)

Nuh uh. This mine as well be another My Strawberry Film. A person’s true self shouldn’t ever have to be hidden.
I did really love how this was about two gay friends who find love for themselves by loving each other, and it didn’t have to be romantic. Kirino and Mishima built a friendship and bond based on who they were and what they shared. And it was wonderful to watch a show that portrayed that shared friendship, but dayum. I can’t help but feel Kirino was done dirty.

Exceptional, wonderful, loved loved loved.
I was wavering on giving this a 9.5 or 10 out of 10, but ultimately decided to go 10/10. The only reason justifiable for that half a point deduction was just because the story confused me at times and made me question if I was smart enough to get it, but ultimately in the end, even with questions unanswered only because my intelligence couldn’t figure them out, I just love this. All I wanted from the last episode was a feel-good finish to a hard-fought journey. And it completely delivered. It was that and so much more. My heart is happy and sated. I was worried after watching “Love in the Big City” that South Korea would once again leave me hanging, but that fear was non-founded and the only reason I couldn’t stop thinking that was because I watched both shows around the same time. Props to South Korean bl’s, they can really do it all.
