Total dick move there with the ep.15 cliffhanger. But I’m already invested. Of course I’m going to tune in to see how this all ends.

I told myself about a couple of episodes into this that if Ryota finds a happy ending, I’ll give it a 10/10. I don’t know what it was about him exactly, but I just wanted to see his happiness. That wasn’t the case unfortunately, but still 8.5/10 because this was fun and I enjoyed watching.

Avid fan base. Grrrrrr! I love that.

At this point I’m only responding because you are and I both don’t want to and also want to sort of keep going. Why am I not allowed to dislike this but you seem to feel liking it is the only right answer here? It can be both.

Ouch, that’s a lot of assumption. Is the purpose of this platform not for one to call a spade a spade and another to disagree? My opinion is not hostile, and I feel like it’s become too focused on the point that yes, I expect a BL to have any kind of “L” in its storytelling. This show, is yet again, a misuse of the ability and the greatness of Off and Gun. I’m allowed to say that. You’re allowed to disagree. But damn, have you seen “Not Me”? There was a story, and there was romance. I will not believe that I am expecting too much by expecting an iota of the same from any show they appear in. This is not Off and Gun at their best. But believe what you will, and I will do the same.

Something, anything. As opposed to nothing. It’s halfway through and there’s been nada, zip, zilch. Don’t call it BL and not deliver on the love/romance part. But to each their own. I’m glad you’re enjoying and have at it. It’s all yours.

You couldn’t have said it better. I’m currently one of those people that is constantly having an internal debate about whether it’s worth my time to continue watching anything being made by Gmmtv. There are other and better shows out there.

Oh yes, I completely understand that for anything to be produced and distributed, it’s going to need funding. My complaint I guess is that I don’t want to be complicit in my support for a production company that is pushing quantity above quality and using its actors as merely spokespeople for the products they are selling. It doesn’t seem like gmmtv is very strapped for cash, not with the amount of shows they’re pumping out. But it does seem like they care more about making money from the products they are selling than having any quality to their storytelling.

I’m not usually the type of person that will try and badmouth anything. I mostly believe if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything at all. However, this show is bugging me. I wish GMMTV would stop using these two as brand ambassadors and allow them to actually act. The amount of product placement sales and advertisements rolled into scenes, in this past episode especially, was just off the wall. It makes me sad because Fourth and Gemini are worth recognizing and admiring, but they aren’t allowed to have any range, not beyond that of commercialization. My heart mostly hurts because I really enjoyed the original Japanese version of this show, and it had felt like this could’ve totally lived up to it, but sadly, to me, it hasn’t come close.

I wouldn’t even go as far as to say any romance is implied between the two. But it’s still totally cool. They work really well as awesome friends that just have each other‘s backs. I, myself, like action shows and movies though, and this is just really well done in that genre. The two of them are the icing on the cake because of their performances. Them together just makes for some screen time that my eyes didn’t want to look away from.

I want to be Han So Hee. I completely understand this is me idolizing and edifying who she is as an actress, but just hot damn, she is remarkable.

I want it to be real but it doesn’t feel real.

This is a must-watch for BL fans. It just is. Even though it isn’t perfect, it’s a step forward and pushing envelopes in BL. I personally think it started better than it ended and was a “nid” anticlimactic, but I liked the genre and thought it was exciting, albeit tropey af. Even so, I liked it. I looked forward to watching. It’s a fond farewell saying goodbye to My Stand-In.

I’m not trying to judge Tongrak and Mahasamut’s relationship, but I’m feeling awful judgey. The give and take between these two is completely confusing and frustrating. I wish them the best of luck, they’re going to need it; that and a pickaxe to break through these numbskulls.
