I’m not usually the type of person that will try and badmouth anything. I mostly believe if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say anything at all. However, this show is bugging me. I wish GMMTV would stop using these two as brand ambassadors and allow them to actually act. The amount of product placement sales and advertisements rolled into scenes, in this past episode especially, was just off the wall. It makes me sad because Fourth and Gemini are worth recognizing and admiring, but they aren’t allowed to have any range, not beyond that of commercialization. My heart mostly hurts because I really enjoyed the original Japanese version of this show, and it had felt like this could’ve totally lived up to it, but sadly, to me, it hasn’t come close.
How bromancy is the bromance? Friendship level or The Spirealm? Or something in between? From one BL-loving heart…
I wouldn’t even go as far as to say any romance is implied between the two. But it’s still totally cool. They work really well as awesome friends that just have each other‘s backs. I, myself, like action shows and movies though, and this is just really well done in that genre. The two of them are the icing on the cake because of their performances. Them together just makes for some screen time that my eyes didn’t want to look away from.
This is a must-watch for BL fans. It just is. Even though it isn’t perfect, it’s a step forward and pushing envelopes in BL. I personally think it started better than it ended and was a “nid” anticlimactic, but I liked the genre and thought it was exciting, albeit tropey af. Even so, I liked it. I looked forward to watching. It’s a fond farewell saying goodbye to My Stand-In.
I’m not trying to judge Tongrak and Mahasamut’s relationship, but I’m feeling awful judgey. The give and take between these two is completely confusing and frustrating. I wish them the best of luck, they’re going to need it; that and a pickaxe to break through these numbskulls.

I just… idk with this one. Is it just me or does it feel like GMM-TV doesn’t know what to do with Gun and Off? Because this isn’t it either. But alas, I love these two. I have this want and need to see each of their lips touch the others. They are beautiful and perfect, and those lips belong together. But I couldn’t really stomach them in Cooking Crush, and I’m currently finding them hard to digest in The Trainee.
I’m not new to this, I completely understand and appreciate a slow burn. But… The Trainee has hardly even yet to sizzle and we’re 3 out of 10 episodes in! Why aren’t they using that heated chemistry that exists between OffGun, and just make something good out of it? I’m disappointed. I want to see Ryan and Jane have some kind of connection, but I’ve hardly been given even the smallest spark between them and we’re a third of the way into the show!
This is what I get for my wants exceeding expectations. At this point I should understand what I’m going to get and not throw a fit. But damn, it just feels like this could and should be so much better.
Nuh-uh. This isn’t right. I probably should have guessed a show name Blue Boys was going to bring the sadness. So shame on me for hoping for character or story development. They are selling me pure angst and I’m sad to say I’m choosing to buy it. My disappointment is real right now.
I don’t know where to comment on this show, so I’m hitting both pages because I’m a bit obsessive about my Blue Boys. As if So Ri wasn’t bad enough, now this flirty mf’er Tae Ha shows up. Let my Boys be happy for more than half an episode, please! Jebal 🙏
Um, I haven't started this yet but I'm confused. The comments here are not that bad overall but the rating is…
I changed my rating right after watching the first episode of part 2 (ep. 5).
Without knowing there would be a part 2 at the time, the ending felt abrupt, but I’m holding on to hope that the continuation delivers the wish fulfillment. Because the first 4 episodes really are very good.
Tae Ha can just exit stage left real quick. I don’t like the implications of him at all. He’s like a wrench thrown into the cogs of already unstable machinery. Our boys just got their shit together! Get out of here with your flirty ass!
Part 2 has brought me new life. I feel healed and invigorated. I hope that the obstacles yet to come for Nam Yi and Jae Min, even though they will surely be met with many along the way, but that it’s no longer caused by their own misunderstandings and miscommunications. Instead they’ll face them together, head on. 🤞
Their kisses bring me life. Worth every penny. Come on Blue Boys Part 2, my wish fulfillment is expecting a lot, but I completely feel like it can be delivered. Make my wishes come true, please. 🙏
I really do want to enjoy this show, but it keeps getting harder and harder to do. And that’s understandably on me. I just don’t find that which is meant to be intriguing about the school politics very interesting at all. But I’ll keep watching because I’m a sucker for Wi Ha Joon’s smile.
What a great series and last episode. So many twists and turns along the way. I especially loved that final twist of an ending. I knew I would miss this show when it ended, and now that that time has come, I’m left feeling sad, but also with so much appreciation for this series. I want more!
