I haven’t watched this drama, but I agree with how ppl can give ratings and reviews whilst dramas are still ongoing, not even out yet or near completed. I see ppl dropping reviews and ratings halfway in a drama and it baffles me

Gao Ming already explained why to ZH, after the masked man revealed himself. They were saved by him. They were just repaying their saviour, that’s why he killer himself, as he knew all along the truth and couldn’t continue to face it after raising Zhinu. Gao Ming said Xing Dou was right in that it was harder to face but at least he could spend everyday and more time with ZH.

There’s princes killing each other, concubines scheming and betrayal left right and centre and yet an enemy scheming and pretending to be a saviour is ridiculous? Pretty much same here. From the beginning I also questioned how he saved him and trained him.

I hope I’m wrong. But everything ZBW is doing doesn’t make sense just because his father stood up for him once. How could a mere imperial astronomer speak up for a framed offical and save him, he didn’t really explain. The emperor explained how KD delivered the seal and asked to leave with his family the very same night, he had no time to send a letter to ZBW, so the story doesn’t add up. ZBW telling Master Gao that ZH might have kept the fish makes me think he wants the master to ask him about it since he told him it was too dangerous if he kept them.

Huh? What are you on about?! I’m just guessing the 3rd enemy and making justification for my reasons. Also, how many dramas I have seen where the enemy adopts the orphan kid and raises them to be a tool. Youthful Glory, the man was used as a scapegoat and worked for the enemy his whole life. Only to find out his father was framed and killed by the very same man that “saved” him as an orphan. Legend of Fuyao, the young Prince with water power was raised by the enemy as well. So many dramas where the villain is raising an orphan that he saved but he actually killed the parents or using th kid to kill the parents or others, Handsome Siblings the kid was raised since a baby to kill his own brother that he never knew because the person raising them lies and twist the truth. It’s not unusual for an adoptive parent to turn out to be the enemy. That’s what you call a ruthless and cunning antagonist.

My opinions.
Sorry, there’s no way the masked man/Zhao Bing Wen is not the 3rd enemy. Him appearing in a mask right at the last moment to save ZH is sus, he had to be there with the other two and then went to check if anyone was still alive to make sure of all and any leads to the seal weren’t gone. The reasons he gave for helping Kd is not enough for me to believe him, and there is no way he received a letter for help from KD when he was literally running on horseback to the palace with the seal he couldn’t have had time to send a letter to ZBW. The emperor already explain, that after he delivered the seal, he went straight home and the next morning he found out the massacre and fire. Where was the time that the letter was sent, he only decided that same day to leave after asking the emperor.
How and why would he have all these masters and people working for him, unless he was the mastermind and planning cunningly from the start. The masked man who revealed himself has to be the 3rd and that all of the saving and training was his plan to steal the seal and fish. He even lead ZH to Shi Yiping house and all that happened was too coincidental and too easy. Even ZH knows this. Would it be a plot twist and just be someone else completely? Because this is too predictable right?

Exactly. Because Gạo Ming said “ if Xing Dou saw you he’d probably say one sleeve is shorter haha” seems like they don’t know.

I hope they explain why Master Xing Dou sacrificed himself. Whilst his other masters, Gao Ming and Liuchu are still alive.
