Ok, so we got details on the KBS2 daily drama that's set to replace "Elegant Empire" at early January. Reply will…
Title: "피도 눈물도 없이"(hard translates to "Without Blood or Tears)
Main Cast: Lee So Yeon as Lee Hye Won(FL/Protagonist) Ha Yun Joo as Lee Hye Ji, Hye Won's younger sister(2FL/Villainess) Oh Chang Seok as Baek Song Yoon(ML/Protagonist) Jang Se Hyun as Yoon Ji Chang(2ML, initially deciding to stick with FL, will sway once meeting 2FL) Park Shin Woo as Lee San Deul, Lee Hye Won's stepbrother and Yoon Ji Chang's friend(Tertiary lead) Jung Chan as Yoon Yi Cheol, Ji Chang's father, CEO of YJ Group(Tertiary lead)
Director: Kim Shin Il(Fatal Promise, Strongest Deliveryman) Screenwriter: Kim Kyung Hee(Brilliant Heritage, The Man's Voice)
Hmm, I see Park Sang Min as a screenwriter/director for this. Now, I've watched his acting works, but this is completely different, for him to be directing instead. Haven't watched the movie which he was the screenwriter for yet, but considering his years of past experience as an actor, I have to admit I'm a bit more intrigued now.
Hmm, a bit nervous about this whole "one episode a week" thing, but this is on a different network. I don't imagine Channel A will face most of the same issues SBS's "Killing Vote" and MBC's "Good Day To Be a Dog" had.
Premieres in theaters, on December 14th of this year!
Film Title: 미끼(Hard translates to "Bait")
Characters: Baek Jin Hee as Joo Young Song Jae Rim as Moo Hyuk Bae Yoo Ram as Hyeok Soo
Director: Yoon Kwon Soo(his first film as a director, any previous works he participated in, he did so as a producer. Apparently was a producer for MBC drama series "My Dearest")
Still considering 😭 Wasn't it confirmed already ... Like ages ago 😭
It's a weird process, but I guess in this instance it makes sense to re-confirm it since, the key word here being "ages ago", was the last time it was confirmed on their end. Just a formality I suppose.
His MDL profile picture finally got changed! He looks nice in this one with his smile, though I will miss seeing that mustache from his old one(even though he isn't sporting it on him right now lol)
I was also waiting for da-mi to comeback but after it was revealed that Matthew = K, theres no comeback for sure…
I mean, you never know. She could suddenly pop up out of nowhere in Season 2. Didn't this screenwriter do this for her last series, bring back characters that were supposed to have died?
I guess if you look at what she's appeared in, technically she's not a "new actress", per se? Just my thought, I don't really know how one determines who's qualified to be considered a "new actor/actress" as far as appearances in projects is concerned.
He created it sometime in September, presumably a few days after signing an exclusive contract with Umi Entertainment(IG handle: unientertainment). Recently he starred in a play called "슈만"(roughly translates to Schuman) alongside Lee Il Hwa, who is in the same agency as him. I hope to see him in another project soon!
It has been confirmed that KBS' new epic drama 'Goryeo Khitan War' will be simultaneously aired on Netflix and…
Hmm. I'm guessing this is why KBS America/World is choosing to push this drama out to their TV channels without subs (typically any new drama airing there is aired a week after the original broadcast, I presume because that time beforehand is spent subbing it? Just taking a wild guess).
I hope he opens an Instagram account one day X Ignore this comment now. I've found his Instagram :D I absolutely…
He does have IG, it's just he doesn't promote or use it that often. So far only 15 posts, with the latest one being on June 30th. It's legit though because he's mutuals with most of the "I Live Alone" hosts.
This drama shows up on the search list if you filter to Drama from MBN. Are they thinking of picking this up? It certainly seems plausible if they want to revisit this since it's been left untouched for a good amount of years since its announcement.
The male lead's face was too kind loooking to be hated -_-
On a somewhat different note - it appears Oh Changseok will be the ML in the daily drama set to take the spot of this one. FL is apparently Lee So Yeon.
I'm not speaking with absolute certainty here as there's only one source for this bit of information at the moment that I'm typing this, and said source came out 7 hours ago.

I look forward to your appearance in "The Goryeo-Khitan War" this weekend!

It is not a BL drama, however, because the majority of the focus is not on any romance whatsoever, but the war that takes place in this drama.
Handle is "palm_u_51".

Really bad pun, I'll see myself out... 🚶
