The male lead's face was too kind loooking to be hated -_-
My theory is at the time when they were recasting, he wasn't affiliated with a management agency. A few weeks ago he announced on his IG that he signed under HB Entertainment(to name a few, actors under that come to my mind that are under their management are Ahn Jae Hyun and Cha Yer Yun).
I do not know how the overall process works regarding re/casting, so I do not know how strong my theory holds. I think it's possible to go freelance and still land roles. In Oh Changseok's case though, I think he'd rather be affiliated with a management agency.
"There is nothing new here folks except for the disgusting father. I don’t think I have ever seen a father so horrible and foul in a drama in all of Kdrama history. At this point no redemption would make me see him differently. He has passed the point of no return. And I hope the writers don’t try and do that because you have built his character up in a way that’s unfitting for any decent human."
If you see this, then oh boy, do I have some news for you(probably not news for you since this wouldn't be the first time that they'd pull a redemption arc for a character so underserving of one), he gets a redemption arc! And a very short one, at that too, as it happens in the last week of airing, with it lasting exactly from the episode where he changed, to the final episode(so approximately 3 episodes lol). And of course the FL, the ML's daughter, completely forgets about every awful thing he did to her and forgoes trying to punish him herself, just like how the ML somehow lost his drive in trying to get rid of her, because blood is 10 times thicker than water here. Both of them must have had memory loss or had their head whacked too many times, otherwise there is no plausible explanation for any of this lol
I've seen comments wanting him to return, and quite frankly, while I wouldn't mind seeing him return to the acting industry, that is up to the discretion of Joo Jin Mo, who we haven't heard of anything after he terminated his contract with Studio Santa Claus Entertainment well over a year ago(contract was terminated on January 3rd, 2022).
Article regarding him terminating his contract with Studio Santa Claus Entertainment + a brief summary on the phone hacking legal case and the effects it caused on his wife and family(from January 5th, 2022): https://entertain.naver.com/now/read?oid=629&aid=0000125708
I guess that legal case that happened regarding his phone getting hacked was a big part of why he went AWOL and remains AWOL to this date. Between the legal case itself(I have 0 idea on what the outcome was since I haven't heard anything else beyond him declaring legal action against the hackers) and the contents of the leaked messages, my guess is at this point he just wants to live a quiet and peaceful life. Him terminating his contract with Studio Santa Claus Entertainment further supports my theory of him wanting a quiet life.
Ok, so according to an MBC IG post from a couple of days ago, they had adjusted the schedule to have episode 111 air on the 3rd, but that was cancelled. According to the wiki, broadcast assumingly will resume on Friday the 6th.
Looks like they did change schedules, but it's not airing on the 2nd or 3rd. A MBC IG post states the episode that was planned to air today is cancelled. According to the wiki, it will air on Friday the 6th.
The staff and cast of "Meant To Be" wrapped up their filming for the last episodes and had their wrap-up party.
Even though now there's a two-week delay before that drama finishes airing due to the Hangzhou Asian Games, I do anticipate at some point we'll be getting a trailer soon for "The Third Marriage". Probably not during the games, but it's a possibility.
If there was any time to release even a speck of news regarding this drama, now is the time.
The actor for the ML will be taking on a KBS Weekend Drama that will air after the conclusion of "Live Your Own Life". If nothing is revealed regarding this drama by the time "Live Your Own Life" is near its conclusion, I will conclude they are never going to touch this project for the foreseeable future.
Today's episode was cancelled due to scheduling adjustments. Same thing will happen with the episode meant to air on the 21th for the same reason.

because it hasnt been subbed yet. it can be anywhere from 0-2 hours from now.
Today's episode of "Meant to Be" was cancelled and rescheduled due to schedule adjustments. Same thing will happen with the "Meant to Be" episode scheduled to air on the 21th. From the Korean version of Wikipedia(an MBC Instagram posted a notice about the rescheduling the day beforehand).
As for the subbing, I don't know how they do it over in KOCOWA, but usually KBS1 dailies get subbed later rather than sooner.
The teasers keep showing up for me on YT but I haven't actually watched them, but for some reason I got curious…
If you are interested in starting, it's looking promising so far, but anything can change at any given moment and the storyline will do an entire 180 for no reason. I suggest you tread with caution right now if you want to start this drama.
The last KBS1 daily drama also had a promising storyline, but it did a complete 180 pretty quick and changed the focus of their ML over there into their 2ML. After getting past that era, the storyline assumingly was heading back into the right tracks, however it quickly did another 180, but into the wrong direction.
The fault is assumed to be in the hands of the KBS leadership, who decided to make the changes to that drama. If that is the case, the same thing can happen in this drama, which will also result in a very unsatisfactory storyline.
On a final note, KBS1 daily dramas tend to be a bit lighter when compared to KBS2 and the current MBC daily dramas, which tend to push things such as vengeance, intentional killings, etc. You might be more interested in KBS1 daily dramas if you're more interested in the family/romance type stuff rather than the revenge/vengeance stuff.
It made me happy to see Yang Byeong Yeol(Nam Sangji's co-star in KBS1 daily drama "Bravo, My Life") show support for Nam Sangji's drama on his IG story!
True. AOME - was the worst I had seen. But TLIYE was very decent. IT was nasty at the end, but recovered and it…
I will not deny the many positives TLIYE had, but the negatives about it were so glaring. It's something that I can't easily overlook. I will give the writers props for keeping the hateful MIL consistent to her character to the bitter end lol

Now he hasn't been see anywhere lol, I hope to see him soon...

Broadcasting should resume on October 9th with Episode 111.
And yes, I despised the writing overall.
