Title Again My Life Spoiler
At the beginning of ep 16 I was wondering how KHW will pull this out as he had nothing concrete to take down CTS. After having such a strong build up, a couple of dragged episodes it ended with a fast wrap up.
As I was approaching the ending of ep 16 I was wondering what is going on and why they had a sort of open ending. I initially thought that maybe they think of making a Season 2 or maybe they wanted to show that the Evil will always find a way out.
The minions of CTS gathered together again finding support from someone else for their means. The drama is showing that the money, politics & law go hand in hand and KHW will still have a lot of work to do in the future to build a different country.

I actually liked this drama even if sometimes it seems static and usually I hardly stick until the end with these types of dramas. I actually found this one refreshing, maybe because this weather theme has never been used before in a kdrama.
There are the funny sides characters and you can also see some real struggles of everyday people (a busy mom, an aspirant youth which against all odds is doing progress, an abusive parent which is using their child as an ATM, a divorced women which is struggling to get back on track, a family on brick of falling apart, etc.) each story is special.
There are a few things which honestly I couldn't stand and seem a bit unrealistic:
1st is the cheating couple issues, yes they face the struggles which many young couples face at the beginning of a married life but I don't think they deserved a redemption story. Also is highly unrealistic that ex partners would happily stay and discuss the issues in their current relationship in such a calm manner like they didn't share a long past together. Especially her ex partner who cheated and even tried to leach her for money. They even fought at work and he was publicly humiliated. In a real life situation only grudge and hate would be left after such an event. Its a rare occurrence to have such a mature development, brush things off so easy and just become friends again like nothing happened.
The 2nd unrealistic thing is the redemption of the abusive father which was unnecessary. In reality such things don't really happen.
I personally like PMY, so I watched most of her dramas and Song Kang is indeed eye candy. This love story doesn't follow a typical cliche story often used in K dramas, you can actually see their struggles. So I recommend it if you want to see something different

It seems a bit unbearable to pass even over the 1st episode. Too much is going since ep 1 and I am thinking what's left to see in the next 39 ep? The editing is weird, the cut of the scenes is too blunt which sets off the mood. Maybe because is an older historical drama it seems a bit "stiff". I started this with high hopes given the good reviews but I am not that impressed.

True man. What happens in d end though. Spoil me on that, i mean the couple stuffs. Like unnecessary romance is…
Yes there are some dating and sugary moments. The ending is a happy one for the couple (it was expected). At least this couple romance is not the main focus of the story, otherwise I wouldn't have sticked with the drama until the end.

The two male leads saved the drama.
The romance part was unnecessary and dreadful, there was no chemistry. At some point I started skipping the couple scenes.

51 eps of 1 HOURS??!?!??!?! nah
I had this drama in my mind for a long time. I also skip starting it because it has so many ep and every ep is long. I have watched a few Chinese long series but at least in their case an ep has roughly 40 min.
But who knows I might give a try someday.

This is a masterpiece. I wish it was longer.
It's a beautiful closure after Painted Skin.

My score is an 8/10:
I finished watching this drama and in my opinion Good but not Perfect. It took me a while to give a chance to this drama but I don't regret watching it. It's actually rare for me to find a Cdrama and stick to it until the end.
If you can pass over some irrational moments (c-drama style) & the frustration created by the endless thread of misunderstandings then you got yourself something to see.
At the beginning I was not convinced by the main actress that she can pull the character of God of war. Her baby face and overall aesthetics chose for her character gave me the feeling that she will be caught in a range of typical situations where she will be useless and silly and the ML will always save her ass. I actually was surprised to see how she grown from her naive phase. Sometimes I had the feeling that they changed the script between the FL with the ML.

There are many reasons to watch this drama:
- Lots of actions scenes, which were well choreographed and don't look awkward.
- Great CGI, I was surprised actually.
- Great costumes, really good quality and diverse.
- Wonderful casting, everyone is good looking and talented. I had a crush on almost every male character on this drama.
- The power of Friendship. I haven't seen such a good bond before between characters and how they always come together to help one another in a long time.

The characters I hated the most:
-King Bailing - for obvious reason, this dude is the King of Manipulation.
- Silver Snake - One word ANNOYING! From the beginning till the end. And making her character falling in love with the ML was such an useless move.
- Wu Tong - he is like a little boy which wanted to be noticed by the girl he liked and started bullying her.
- The righteous Sect Leaders - a bunch of Hypocrites.

The characters I Loved the Most (excluding the Main couple) :
- 🐍Flying Snake - the sassiest, most smart and realistic character from all. He literally fixed so many misunderstandings and he is such a vibe.
-🐒Wu zi chi - Strong, loyal, funny, cute, a great friend.
- 🦅Brother Li - he is wise, he is like a father of the group and he is always very realistic.
-🦊 Purple Fox - This lady was my favourite female character in the whole drama. She is really determined and knowledgeable and helps out in some of the most critical moments in the story.
-🧜🏻‍♂️ The Merman - he is selfless, helping everyone without expecting anything in return. Even if he badly treated sometimes, he is never hateful. He is also very knowledgeable and he brings great input in the critical moments.

In conclusion in recommend this drama, especially if you like this genre of dramas. Many people compare it with Ashes of Love (I did too), there are some similarities at the beginning but it turns out totally different as the story is progressing. I would say Love & Redemption is actually slightly better.
