1. In book 1 he ate the "qilin sanguis" during his fight with pangzi. He got hallucination and there he was strangled by Pangzi (the husband of the female corpse possessed him) so Wu Xie choked him in return by the belt he found and when it was broken in half the sanguis fell in his mouth.

2. He was hinted by Liang in book 3 that he ate the qilin sanguis or blood cloth when they witnessed the bugs and deadly dragons didn't attacked him. He lend them a hand (Wu Xie's bleeding hand) and those insectes ran away when his wound got near them.

3. He realized that his blood is not ordinary when the centipedes running away from him in book 4. In chapter 36 of the same book the centipedes retreated when Wu Xie fell in front of Ning and her team.

Actually I thought Time Raider movie is not related in tomb notes story but just a remake with same characters. But somehow that's not a case, in book 4 of the novel I realized that Pangzi really worked with Ning's team as what we had seen in the movie.

Currently I'm on book 5 now but I already read the book 7 until the last volume. As for the sequel, I didn't read the 4 sequels yet. So if you have questions in mind you may ask me

I guess Zhang Bo Yu is the best in terms of acting as Pangzi thats why he was chosen to act as Pangzi thrice in different installments of tomb notes. First he was chosen as Pangzi in Time Raiders movie. Second, in Explore the note last year. And third, in heavenly palace which will be released this year
