Or maybe she suspected even before she was married. Because in ZXW's monologue when he was telling her how much he loved her, he smiled shyly and said that 'I think you might have already discovered it since I'm not really very good at concealing it'.

Because he was prepared to lose everything to be with HQ that he has absolute power. He is not afraid of anything so no one dare to do anything to him or HQ because he is still the sole heir to Zhong manor. That is why I like the real life ZXW, bold and ready to do anything for love.

All the obstacles already removed in the scene where he spoke to the Princess mother. He made a deal with her that if he is able to manage the Zhong business well for 1 year, and able to convince/pacify everyone for him to marry HQ, his mother should not object anymore. Eldest Princess told him that within 1 year he could not go visit HQ in detention. So when he went to her (he regretted it was late), it was already because he passed that 1-year deal with her mother. But he stayed in that area to take care of HQ and never returned to the Zhong manor. So Eldest Princess asked ZYL to be a messenger to convince ZXW to go home saying so long as he runs the Zhong business well he can do whatever he pleases.

I love the real version of ZXW, not afraid to take a stand and love with all his heart.

If you go back to the beginning of the drama, she started to be conscious of him. And she would blush, i.e. when they were together in the carriage, when she tells him to watch his actions... so their love affair already started in her dream. Her idea of a perfect lover is HRZ, which is in fact ZXW in real life - someone who would protect her regardless if she is good or bad. So when she went back to her dream the 2nd time around, she realized that the voice talking to her all the time was ZXW, and he told her don't be afraid, I will face the future with you. That's when she realized she doesn't need HRZ and she is ready to wake up.

In her dream, she already loved him but they can't be together so we can assume in real life if he is all that she's got and he is staying by her side that they will be together. He did tell her that she said she wanted to go around the world, to introduce the incense to all parts of the world. It is implied that he intend to go with her, which is still in line with her wanting to live a carefree life with HRZ. But ZXW has the power to make this happen even if they are married.

The purpose of the dream is also for her to realize her feelings for him, and it was explained too that the incense can allow her to hear what the Lord was saying. So for the past 26 months, the Lord has been by her bedside talking to her. So her perspective of ZXW in the dream comes through from his interactions with her in real life.

So this is the purpose of the dream, it is necessary.

I love the scene in ep29 when ZXW patiently looks after HQ. He seemed just happy caring for her. Our boy works so hard.🥰

HQ always reserves the longest stare for ZXW.🥰. Transfixed... captivated....

Another thing to note is the noodle and why he didn't eat it. Accordingly in the novel, the emperor was worried that if he ate and could not let go, or if he ate and able to let go. So he is still reeling from letting her go and would rather not touch it for fear of what he will feel after. But leaving the food by the street means he is leaving her at peace (symbolism), even if some say HQ has some hope that ZXW will turn back and stay with her. Even if he knew she has feelings for him but he already made peace that if he wants to protect her he has to let her go.

Also, in their reunion you could see that this time ZXW didn't walk towards her and maintained a distance. So he had accepted the fact. It is already unconditional love.

These last two sentence* (from the red paper) came from a poem by Chinese poet Li Bai/ Li Bo during the Tang Dynasty. The whole poem includes the name of XiWu (Separately these two characters mean Stream (Xi), Wu (Noon).
*But essentially it is yearning, waiting for someone. But as ZXW is an educated person it is assumed he knew the poem/ he has an idea. However since he believes HQ loves HRZ so he said to his bodyguard that HRZ (on his way to her) is the person she is waiting for. This is consistent with the novel that the emperor thought HQ was in love with HRZ but the latter knew (as we saw by the stream) that HQ yearningly stare at ZXW and HRZ asked her not to forget to come home.

Romance in the Farm is actually #1 followed closely by SOT. But it has already ended so maybe some viewership will move to SOT especially as ending is tomorrow.

I'm not sure if it's the roles she's been offered or the roles she chooses. She was very impressive / stellar in Goodbye My Princess but somehow she is always Xiao Feng in her other roles, meaning I always see Xiao Feng even if she's in another role.

Yea the scene of her passing out after waking up scares me. And today's ep scares me too, I saw more in YT seems heartbreaking 💔 😭. It follows the novel, so I'm not even sure if ZXW is end game.

This is another (old) drama of WXY. The girl is not ZY.

Yea I think he gives them exposure, if one has made it he is on to the next one. So I'm not surprised if ZYJ gets a lot of screen time in this drama (business reasons), but fans obviously are expecting the ML to have more scenes. But I think WXY has proven his acting prowess in earlier dramas so he gets top billing. And his role is more significant than HRZ in this drama. Same in the novel.

I think we don't necessarily need kisses or hugs but if the scenes were set up to demonstrate the love we can still feel the sweetness.

I rewatched scenes between ZXW and HQ from the beginning and I could see how he fell more deeply in love with her as the episodes progress. In the beginning, he was being a prick and trying to assess her but you can see him slowly falling into her personality (which he did say in ep27). And in the Pagoda Tower scene (ep14), their conversations have double meaning and you can feel the sexual tension. The way she asked him, "are you in love..." and the way he stared and he moved his body towards her and she blushed. (I can feel me blushing too!). And how he smiled and said he "longingly miss" her (but she thought he was talking about MY). It's a simple scene with underlying tone but still sweet to me.

There were a lot of scenes in this drama showing how much ZXW loves HQ. Watch it to experience it yourself. 😊 Judging with how many people here root for their CP and wanting more, I can say there's so much angst and (unfulfilled) passion between them leaving shippers thirsty for more. It's definitely not dry.

It's a slowburn romance but still sweet and hopefully they end up together.

I think he was asking his mom (Eldest Princess) to go ahead with the arranged marriage to also protect HQ. As someone said here, he has already learned now unconditional love. Even the bodyguards fighting HRZ (and hurting themselves), it is to train HRZ to be ready to protect HQ so ZXW can leave her in peace, the way she wanted it.
