To anyone curious about this TV show, it’s essentially a Thai BL version of The Bachelor. 16 men try to win over 1 man, except there is a lot more at stake here because they’re all men who are interested in men, meaning they may end up falling for each other instead of the “dream guy” they are trying to fight for. There are only 4 episodes out so far that are released every Sunday and get subbed in English on Friday’s and they can be watched for free on Pops.tv.

It’s really sad to see so much hatred in the comments. GMMTV is a company that’s entire job is to make money from fans. 2gether is one of GMMTV’s most successful BL’s. Of course successful doesn’t equal best because I would definitely give that honour to ATOTS, but it’s still been incredibly successful. GMMTV saw this success and created Still 2gether, which also was very successful (mainly because of the change in director). Of course they’re going to look at this and continue creating content so fans can watch it and they can make money off that.

I’m so confused at some comments stating GMMTV “ just want to milk fans' money” when that’s literally the point of a company in the first place. They are in this job for the money, the same way as everyone works so they get money, if they milk their fans for money then they’re literally just doing their job. Everyone has a choice to support or ignore a project so instead of leaving hate comments for no reason, stop supporting the 2gether franchise and if GMMTV stops making money on this, then they can stop 2gether sequels and hopefully dedicate their time to something better like sequels to others projects such as ATOTS 2.

So you’re telling me Suzuki and Yanagi are both going to be acting in an adaptation from one of my favourite animes ever? I’m soooo excited!!!! I’ll be keeping a close eye out for this series and I’ll try and find it the second that episode 1 is released!

That’s why I even said in my title that it’s more than just the simple BL it seems. When first looking at it, it seems to be a BL, but when watching you realise that’s not the case. It’s much more developed and refined to be a “boys love” drama.

There is a series called Be Loved in House: I Do. It’s another BL series due to air tomorrow, but it’s Taiwanese not Thai so I don’t know if that’s definitely the one you meant.

I absolutely loved this series and I just can’t believe it’s over. That was a great ending for such a fantastic series. Both Kao and Poompat have a lot of chemistry and all the intimate scenes, not only in this episode but previous episodes as well, made me almost feel invasive, like I shouldn’t be watching something so personal. Although I’m not really satisfied with Aoey’s ending I think Bruce did an amazing job with Aoey and I still stand by my statement that Bruce was the best actor in this series. Although the final wasn’t perfect as it left me with several unanswered questions, I’m thankful Gene and Nubsib got such a happy ending. I hope to see all the actors in this series again, especially Bruce, in a main role and I look forward to rewatching this series again!

Why does the 11th episode curse have to ruin EVERYTHING??!!!!

Yeah, the cinematography was gorgeous. I was also really stunned by the fighting, it was well shot and fascinating to watch.

... I can’t say I didn’t see the events of episode 35 coming but that was heartbreaking! I definitely understand why people made such a big deal about this episode though, it definitely was the best so far and was both incredible and devastating to watch.

Although this definitely wasn’t amazing or anywhere near the same quality we’ve seen from previous BL series, there was definitely something so refreshing about this which I really enjoyed. Although Tongfah and Paper’s relationship wasn’t my favourite, I loved Chris and Jeno so much and I really loved them in this episode. Honestly I still don’t care much for Near and M but they weren’t that bad so I kept with it.

I still really hate Arthur and his friends for all the bullying they did, but I do want to take a moment to appreciate his friends that may not have been the nicest people all together but were still great, supportive friends to Arthur and helped him out. I actually really liked the teachers and headmaster, I think this is the first time I’ve seen a school so firm with their anti-bullying policy, which is exactly how it should be. Overall I would probably still rate this a 7.5/10, it could have been better, but was still good for a low budget series.

I’ve just finished episode 34 and I’m getting a strong feeling that either Gu Xiang or Cao Wei Ning are going to die before their wedding. Please don’t give any spoilers because I’ll find out tomorrow, but I’m getting a very bad feeling about all of this. I’m just praying my suspicions won’t come true!

Gene yelling at his father honestly gave me flashbacks to my own Mum before she accepted me, so I spent the last part of the episode crying because I can completely understand how Gene feels right now. I definitely didn’t expect that plot twist with the Dad though, but it also explains his prejudice a little although it doesn’t excuse it. I’m hoping the next episode will be better with the family taking the time to understand their sons feelings instead of letting their own emotions get in the way. Honestly, I think this episode is my favourite so far!

The novel has the same name as the series and the writer is called Yoenim.

This may be an unpopular opinion but Bruce is the best actor in the entire Lovely Writer series. Aoey is a character I keep getting mixed feelings for, because I started to like him after we saw his family, but I’m really starting to hate him now. Bruce is definitely a natural at this and I was so happy to find out he’s gay in real life, as I love the representation of LGBTQ+ actors in these kinds of series. I’m finding myself conflicted whether Aoey deserves a happy ending or not, especially seeing some spoilers about what he did to Gene in the novel which makes me really nervous about what’s to come. I’ve always said a good actor is able to manipulate the audiences emotions in their scenes, so the fact that I’ve felt happy, sad, nervous, anxious and angry at/for his character really says a lot about his skills and talent. Hoping someday I can see him in a main role where he can really shine!
