The more episodes that get released the more I absolutely love this series. I really hope that GMMTV won’t pull another 2gether where they start with an amazing series which completely falls apart in the second half, leaving a lot of people to forget the good parts of the series. Considering that Bad Buddy has an amazing cast with great chemistry I’m hoping that won’t be the case, but it honestly wouldn’t surprise me at this point. Ohm and Nanon did a great job this episode and next week looks really exciting!

Kieta Hatsukoi is amazing and Bad Buddy is also great for ongoing series. On November 17 the English subbed episodes for Love With Benefits are being released and apparently the people who have already watched the first 2 episodes said it’s really good as well. Those are the only well rated airing BL series I know.

A fantastic ending to a fantastic series. This deserves every single bit of praise it has received and I’m so glad I finally watched and finished this series. Although I definitely think ITSAY was a little better than IPYTM I genuinely loved both seasons and I’m so overwhelmed at the quality of this series. Nadao really is on the next level when producing series, not even specifically BL’s, but this is probably one of my favourite asian series overall. Although I honestly don’t like Teh that much and personally I think Oh-aew deserves better, I’m so glad that things worked out and I loved the ending!

As a novel reader I can confirm the comment above mine, and I can tell you it’s ridiculously long, they could probably separate that one novel into 3 novels because the page count was in the thousands. Although I do feel there were scenes that got unnecessarily dragged out there is a strong plot and a lot of drama, so they definitely have enough storyline to keep the series running for that long. Hopefully the novel can get re-translated again because all fan translations were taken down just before the trailer was released. (Kinda spoiler: It’s been over a year since I read this so I may be wrong about some of this but yes the development of their feelings and the actual confession takes place later in the novel, but not the very end, if I had to guess I would say around episode 14 they will start liking each other romantically and episode 18-19 may be the confession.)

Thais has been really sweet so far. I watched this without reading any of the comments and I’m so glad I did. It’s times like this I remind myself not to listen to other comments, as for me the mains have great chemistry and although it’s incredibly short and a little rushed, it’s nice and lighthearted with many sweet moments and little drama. Despite the negative comments I think this is a great series and I’m looking forward to watching the final episode.

That scene when Oh-aew was wearing the bra had me in tears, which increased during the scene after with Teh. The self-homophobia they’re both experiencing hit way too close to home, and even now I’m trying to stop crying so I can start the final episode. The only think I can say is a huge well done to the cast!

The more episodes that get released the more I love Ida, especially his outlook on things such as romance. Hopefully there isn’t going to be too much drama from now and hopefully Hashimoto confesses soon (if she hasn’t already).

It’s taken me an unbearably long time to watch this lmao but I finally started the first episode just now and I really enjoyed it. The acting is great, scenery and production value is just incredible, and idk what the soundtrack is but I’m gonna find it and download the main song because I absolutely fell in love with it.

Sadly no. There were a few fan translations up a year ago as I read Dear Doctor through them and was hoping to read Dear Cupid after which is another book by the same author being made into a series, when suddenly all the translations were deleted and a few weeks later it was announced that the novel rights were sold to AB Group Music. It’s likely they had them all taken down so they could produce the series and encourage people to read them legally. I’m hoping they may consider officially translating it because I already know I loved the novel so would have no problem paying for it, but I’ve checked to see if I can find any English translations and unfortunately non are available.

Although I really didn’t like Cha Ji Soo this was such a cute mini series and I really enjoyed it!

I love when BL dramas have actors that can actually act without certain scenes being cringy or weird. Ohm and Nanon really portrayed their characters so well, to the point I wanted to cry at Nanons face after hearing what Pat’s father said, especially when he claimed to be fine and you could tell he wanted to cry. I honestly hate the parents so much, how can you do that to your kids?!

That’s exactly how I feel. I ended up stopping dramas other than Don’t Say No for a while so I have 3-4 dramas I was halfway through watching that I really need to catch up on. I’m still not really in the mood to catch up on some of them so I decided to watch this after it showed up in my YouTube recommended list and finished it in less than 2 days lmao. I think it came up because it’s a GMMTV drama and I started the first episode of Bad Buddy aha. It’s nice because it’s nothing heavy or dramatic, and it’s not one of those series you feel like you have to pay attention to every second of or you’ll miss something important, it’s just fun and lighthearted entertainment.

So I finally decided to give this a watch after I stopped watching dramas for a while and wow this is so sweet, cute and wholesome. Did it drag out? Yes. Were there several very unnecessary scenes and plot twists? Yes. Did I enjoy it regardless of them? Hell yes! I think this is one of those dramas where 95% of all the arguments are completely realistic. The insecurities, jealousy etc were completely justified as they all had reason behind them so they made sense, unlike several dramas I’ve watched where characters are jealous for no reason whatsoever. Both the main and side couple were so cute, and I have so much respect for the kitty gang. There were a few scenes I was a bit uncomfortable with but overall this was such a sweet, lighthearted BL and I really enjoyed it!

I’m so excited after seeing the cast announcement. It looks like Nut and Karn will be the main couple, and they happen to be the main couple from the series Grey Rainbow. I’m so excited to see them (especially after their disappointing ending in GR) and now I’m even more excited for this series to begin! I’ve already read the novel for this series so I’m looking forward to it and hopefully this series will really up the BL content because the novel was less of a BL and more of a bromance between the leads.

I finally caught up to the last 2 episodes and honestly I’m not surprised. It seems Mame likes to leave her characters miserable, it’s a little disappointing because I actually loved the series when it started but it completely derailed for me. This may be kind of unpopular but up until episode 11 I thought the series was amazing so I have no complaints about that, it was episode 11 & 12 that really let me down. I feel like this is another 2gether situation where I love it and then the last few episodes ruin the whole series for me. If I ever decide to rewatch this I’ll make sure to ignore the last 2.

Yes, I found it was so much better. There’s good communication, especially about their “intimate moments” which they fully talk about, and consent is a great part of the story. I would recommend watching TT2 before starting this if you haven’t already finished it only because it provides better backstory. Another good thing is they get into a relationship right in the very first scene of ep 1 so I don’t think there’s any boring, dragged out scenes. Much of it is focused on how 2 best friends go from being friends to a relationship and working through any issues they have together. I didn’t like TT2 that much either and hated LeoFiat then so I pretty much watched the last few episodes on 2x speed, but this is honestly so much better.

Although I really wanted to hear the original song be remade here, I actually liked the new song a lot as I felt as though it was more tailored towards Sanari’s voice. I’m really happy with this remake overall, there may have been moments that could have been changed, and the anime is definitely better than this adaptation, but I did enjoy this a lot. I hope they decide to make a season 2 and bring in the contents from the last few episodes of the Given anime and the movie into it!

No, it’s just been changed. The original description said this would be about a 15 year old and 30 year old in a relationship so luckily they’ve been aged up in the series which is a huge relief.

Honestly I’ve been really enjoying this series so far, which I’m happy to say. Live actions I’ve found can either be really good, or just awful so the next episode is make or break for me. In the anime, I have rewatched Mafuyu’s song so many times, and every single time I end up crying at the part where he screams. If the live action of this song doesn’t have the same emotional impact then my rating may end up dropping, but I think if they manage to make the song emotional enough that most of the audience cries then I think I can consider this a great, successful live action. All my hopes are riding on the song and I’m soooo excited for next week!
