Wow, this was really good! I agree with most of the comments that the FL was very annoying, but I’ve seen worse. Ahh, the ending didn’t have the same closure I wanted but I’m so glad that the certain character didn’t die like I thought! Half way through I got a little bored but around episode 12 the story became so good I stayed up till 3:30 am watching and finishing it. Afterwards I was incredibly tired but it was so worth it!
All these RamKing moments are making me soft! When he wasn’t sure how to thank him for the help studying so he grabbed his arm and took him out to eat, I seriously melted at Ram’s expression when King was so kind to him! Then when Ram shoved the drink into King’s face I lost it, he’s so precious!!!!!!! Ahh, ep 5 made me so happy, and I feel bad for Nuer, Doctor Thana come quick!!
He’s Chinese and doesn’t speak Thai, also he was removed from the company so they voiced him over.
I think he got into trouble by breaking a rule or something. It hasn’t been officially stated, all we know is that he was removed from the company and the only reason he’s still here is because they had already finished filming, so they voiced him over instead.
I watch these and I have so many questions about relationships in Thailand. I'm not asking to be rude, I'm curious.…
I’ve actually found that most Asian countries aren’t big on public affection. They’ll hold hands but I’ve seen in plenty of dramas, even straight ones that they don’t like to kiss in public. No one really does it in Japan where my older brother lives, and I’ve visited Thailand a few times but haven’t seen couples show much affection in public. I always wondered if it was just culture differences. I don’t think they normally wear much lipgloss but they are big on chapstick, I remember seeing boxes of 10 that people would buy when I visited Thailand which shocked me because back home I only ever see a packet with 1. Not sure about the sex part though, but I know they are still big on the “husband” and “wife” roles which is probably why it looks strange at times.
At this point I seriously don’t care what anyone says about this series, that was one of if not the best confession scenes I’ve ever watched. I completely teared up along with Gun. Yes their acting isn’t necessarily the best, but you could see the heartbreak and fear on Gun’s face at the thought of being rejected, which made the scene feel so special. Although maybe a more intimate place would have been nice, for some reason I love public confessions, maybe because it reminds me a lot of when my girlfriend first confessed to me. Although I think after this series ends I will probably end up forgetting all about it, right now I feel like I’m in the minority when I say that I really am enjoying this series. Although I’m sad the amount of episodes are so short, I really don’t think the pacing is as bad as people make it out to be. I’m looking forward to the last episode, before we move onto the next couple.
After the Twitter updates and seeing SaifahZon at the beginning, I was really hoping to see DewBlue and JapanTanthai…
Other than that I enjoyed all the scenes with Tutor and Fighter. I will admit I’ve been getting a little bored due to the lack of drama, but the sweet scenes were a nice break from some of the more dramatic series I’m watching at the moment lmao.
After the Twitter updates and seeing SaifahZon at the beginning, I was really hoping to see DewBlue and JapanTanthai again, so I’m a little bit sad we didn’t get to see them, but next episode looks really good and hopefully quite promising, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for next week!
Omg I watched until episode 12 and erm Im thinking of dropping it. Srsly the story is quite uneventful and I'm…
I’ve watched both seasons recently and loved it. It can be quite uneventful but the last few episodes of season 1, and most of Season 2 make up for it. It gets very sad, so if you like happier drama’s then it’s probably better to drop it, but it’s now one of my favourite bromance series, and currently my favourite Chinese series. You’ll either love it or hate it, for me I loved it and would definitely recommend it! It’s up to you though :)
Its not the fact that it wasnt our cup of tea, everybody at the beginning was really excited about the plot. It…
The only thing I hated about this drama was the pacing. The boring moments like the episode where Pharm was at Dean’s parents got really unnecessarily dragged out, whereas the better scenes should have been the ones to stand out more, and the only reason they did was because there were more episodes than expected. If they went back and fixed the pacing this would have been my favourite series of 2019. I thought the acting was phenomenal from all the cast (though the “P’Dean” got annoying very quickly lmao). The direction and chemistry between the cast was good, though some improvements could have been made between Fluke and Ohm as they have more chemistry off screen than on. Yes it had many flaws, but I really did enjoy this drama too.
i’m only on ep 2 but i can already confidently say i cringe watching most of this. of course i’ll continue…
His lines are voiced over not only because he can’t speak Thai, but also his contract with the company was terminated so while they could include him, they voiced him over because of the problems between him and the company.
Ram and King
Boss and Maek
Dr. Thara and Frong
