Okay this was much better than I expected. I was really worried about the rape to love plot but it was toned down and no where near as graphic as the novel, which was better than nothing I guess. Vee is very handsome and Mark is really sweet as well. I originally decided not to watch this because I really don’t like this common theme of rape to love but decided to when Tossara started airing because I knew I was going to be really excited for This Is Love Story. So far I don’t regret starting it but I don’t agree with the rape part. It’s sad that this is a common feature of dramas and something I really liked about Tossara was that Gun was always asking for consent before he went any further in episode 4. I don’t know, I’ll continue watching but I hope we get apologies and clarity. Forgiving rape and abuse are things I would never do, but I just keep reminding myself that this is fiction and it isn’t real.

That’s okay, and yeah, sadly mydramalist doesn’t allow emoji’s so they come up as question marks, that’s the only thing I don’t like about this site and I did the same thing when I first joined too.

It’s okay. The series was definitely rushed, trying to fit book 1 and 2 in 1 season of 12 episodes really didn’t work. I’m just glad that at least they’re not going to drag out the last book and compress that too much, so we can get the full effect of book 3, which was definitely my favourite. I’m glad I was able to help!

Okay, so basically Wayo was staying in his room when Pha got the call from Pring. Pring and Park had collaborated because they both wanted Yo and Pha to break up. Pring pretended to be drunk so she could get Pha out of the room, and Yo didn’t lock the door because he thought Pha would be coming back. Park then snuck in and (in the novel) drugged Yo so he wouldn’t wake up, and left a hickey on his neck and took a picture. Park and Pring then spread the picture around the university because they wanted to make it look like Yo was cheating on Pha which connects to when Yo’s number was put online and rumours were spread that he would sleep with anyone who payed enough. Yo came to the university and as soon as he saw the pictures he ran away and went back home to his dad because he realised what happened and thought he might have been raped because he said in the morning he felt weird and drowsy (effects of the drug), which luckily wasn’t the case. Then next season the group will go to Wayo’s home to bring him back and meet Yo’s dad who is a rich businessman and takes care of Park for them (and don’t worry, the dads really supportive).

I hope that makes sense.

Why wouldn’t Earth be in it?? Where did you hear that? That part of the story is literally about Wayo, why would Earth suddenly not appear?

What part didn’t make sense? I read the novel which explains in more detail so I can explain whichever part you’re confused on but a lot happened that episode for me to know which part you mean.

Still ongoing. It’s rumoured to be released in May but as far as I’m aware filming was finished a month or so ago and now I guess it’s still being edited ready for release. I just hope they announce the official release date soon!

It’s not aired yet. When it does it’ll be on the Studio Wabi Sabi Youtube page with English subtitles.

I’m so disappointed. I’ve been loving this series ever since it began airing but now it’s gone downhill. I used to look forward to new episodes but now I’m dreading next week because of the teaser. I’m not going to drop it, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to enjoy it very much considering what we saw in that teaser for ep 12.

I think that’s true but they should ask Tine what he wants before dragging him out and forcing him to flirt with girls when he doesn’t want to, it just seems quite rude and not something a real friend should do.

I’m guessing this has been cancelled then as it’s been 3 years and still nothing.

The best example is another upcoming movie Love Syndrome. That’ll be even worse than The Effect because the couple actually end up together. All you need to to is read the plot (https://kisskh.at/57097-love-syndrome) to understand how bad it is. Honestly that’s probably the worst they could come up with and the best comparison but so many dramas recently have been using the rape to love plot which is disgusting and disturbing. I mean, I already know I’m gonna watch this but that’s only because I’m really looking forward to the final one- This Is Love Story. I really hope it’s toned down a bit from the novel but so far I’m not holding much hope for that scenario.

This literally looks like a remake of Diary of Tootsies. I really hope they deliver, because the Tootsies were amazing, so anything with a similar plot I will have quite high expectations for to be honest. It’s awesome to see Talay in this as I’m currently loving him as King in My Engineer, and I think we’re all stoked to see Poppy again as I’m also loving him in WhyRU. Also it’s great to see my girl Apple as I haven’t seen her in a drama since her appearance on DBK! This is airing soon and to be honest I’m getting very overwhelmed by the amount of dramas airing at the moment as I’m currently watching 7 airing dramas, and that’s only certain ones because there are a few I’ve said I won’t watch yet because there are way too many episodes to catch up on. Oh well, as soon as I saw Poppy and Talay were in this I knew I’d start it, just hoping the plot lives up to the hype of The Tootsies. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I could tell. Whenever I go back to a BL with a character called Type all the comments are about TharnType even if it’s nothing to do with the drama lmao. I think it left a deep impression on all of us.

*Type is his brother not Tharn lmao. It’s probably not going to be for a while as that wasn’t actually revealed until the second novel. I gave a spoiler to a reply 3 comments down if you want to know what happens when that is revealed, with Sarawat’s reaction to the news. Also there’s 13 episodes in total, so luckily there’s technically 6 more episodes. I’m looking forward to when they reveal it, I bet it won’t be till towards the end though.
