Aha, I follow so many different BL pages that I got the notification instantly and went to share it so everyone could see. I’ve been waiting for news about Hemp Rope ever since UWMA ended so I got very excited to hear about it.
HEMP ROPE IS GETTING ITS OWN SERIES!! Hemp Rope is WinTeams novel so all the fans that complained because of the lack of WinTeam moments can now watch their own series!!!!!! This will not be a sequel to UWMA as the timelines will be the same, but hopefully we’ll see some familiar faces from here other than BounPrem which will be exciting!

The ending is really happy and sweet, they are together and even Yuan Yang’s parents accept them. However it takes pretty much till the last few chapters to get to that point.

Oh god, Motive Village has problems with everyone. They were awful to SBfive + God, and they don’t sponsor Earth with basically anything, but they can’t really fire him from the company after there was already outrage at the change in cast. That’s why I was confused, because yes they don’t support Earth and they are horrible, but they’re not stupid enough to dump Earth and face all that backlash that will come with it.
The workshop begins next week!!!!!!! This will happen 3 times a week up until the end of May when they will officially begin shooting (as long as it’s safe and Covid has decreased)!! The series will be broadcasted August-November and like LBC, will have more than the 12 episodes originally announced!!
-Also ReminderS2 will begin airing at the end of the year, which was mentioned by the producer but I don’t think it’s been officially confirmed just yet.
Mark literally said he wanted Vee and his girlfriend to properly breakup before they started dating and Vee basically said that he chose Mark and broke up with her, but suddenly it’s all over the school news that they got back together and he walked in to see them kiss, what do you think he’s going to feel? Vee was then upset because Mark disappeared and he didn’t even get to clear things up with him. You have every right to have your own opinions of the show, and no ones forcing you to like or watch it, but you can be more nicer and respectful about it than just being rude.
That was such a sweet episode! RamKing were so cute and it’s nice to watch their relationship progress in a natural way. I was kinda sad we didn’t get much MekBoss but we’ve seen them a lot recently so it’s fine. At first I was really happy with BounDuen at the beginning of the episode because they were actually communicating, but of course jealous Boun comes along again and ruins it for me yet again. Despite this I think this is one of the few series I can say that I love every single couple in it. I definitely feel for Ram, as relationship difficulties are no joke in my family, so I’ve seen plenty of drama to know how hard it is to go through, and I’m glad he does have people around him he can rely on! <3
Mil seriously needs to go away! He knows Tine and Sarawat are still dating, but he has no concept of personal space. I think because this show started off so good, people are getting unnecessarily picky over scenes. The camp scene is a popular thing that lots of other dramas have done, and the whole scary story aspect is also pretty common. I remember when I went on a school camping trip and they did that exact same thing to us. Yes the falling over and hurting their leg is very overdone, but when it’s raining do you have any idea how slippery it is??!!! Can we just talk about how Man and Boss are literally the best friends you could ever have?!! They were so awesome and I love such supportive friends in dramas!
I actually really enjoyed this. I agree with the other comments, the second female lead really annoyed me. I also don’t think Ha Wons family should have been forgiven so easily despite what they put her through. Despite all of that I really did enjoy this series and thought it was really light and sweet.
Let’s just hope this happens because apparently they’ll either change part of the script or it will be cancelled all together. I was really looking forward to this so I hope they just change it, though it would be a pretty big change to make.
Was the sad ending necessary? Absolutely not. Did it ruin the story in any way? No it did not. This is a depressing drama about the deep social injustice still relevant today, it’s not happy and cheerful, but it’s not meant to be. People with money, wealth, power, and status can use this as methods of corruption, and buy their way around any situation, even if it’s against the law. This calls out the social injustice, as well as the effects it has on innocent people and families. You’ll get annoyed, sad, angry and will cry throughout this drama. Just when you think justice will be served suddenly they come back to square one. In the end, even if justice eventually prevails, what cost does it come with? I’m someone that tends to avoid depressing dramas wherever possible, but this drama will forever hold a place in my heart as a harsh reality to the world we live in. They managed to capture this feeling of helplessness perfectly, and despite the ending we got, I hold no regrets over watching this and wouldn’t change a thing about it.

I’ve also read the novel which is why I’m sad they brought this fiancé stuff for added drama. The novel was so sweet so it’s annoying they have to add drama just to make it more “effective” by making Linda Solo’s fiancé instead. And yes, I can’t wait for Jay, I don’t think his actors been announced but he was such an amazing character from the book!
