They may be because if DK is living close to four season menor then it fitted the Axiang and CWN ‘s reincarnation extra story. Because their parent were close friends and live close to each. DK and CL’s wife are from the same clan. So they are close.

So heard me out:
I think the 7 min episode was a scene that supposed to between after WKS blackout and ZZS holding his hand as they fade to the cut scene and the ending showing CL telling the story to his student about them and wife and daughter coming to get them for dinner. They just edit the middle of the of the ending to make the episode 37. So the order should be WKS and ZZS sitting there and you don’t know if WKS survived or not. Then next scene is the episode 37 ( the 7 min with flashback aligned with last scene), which several years afterwards and WKS must have being the Coma and just woke up because ZZS look like he was a little surprised and happy to see WKS walk out the cave opening. Then the ending with CL and student scenes. As for why DK is in the 7 min scene, he is to show sometime as pass and that martial world Revere they as seniors master.
Update: just talk to someone they point something and it make me believe that the two kids is the reincarnation of A-Xaing and CWN, because in their extra story they were reborn into two family who are close friend and neighbors. DK and CL’s wife is from the same clan and I assume and CL old clan was close to DK too. So I assuming they are close friend, so the write give us a happy end for the two as well.

So It was only being several years, not decade. He can’t be CL because the actor they choose to play grownup there is no really age different the actors. I know DK is an irrelevant character to WKX and ZZS. However, He can just be a representative of the Kung fu world accepting or looking up to the two of them as senior.

I think the director is implying that is Deng Kuan’s reincarnation to show several decades has pass, that ZZS and WKX master the immortality manual.

They are talking about the episode 37. There was kid learning from ZZS before WKX came in to butt into his reaching. Then the kid father came in to pick him

It is basically the same but the later version, they chance some word from when they first released it, they clean it up a little. They got rid of Chinese subtitles and 1840 hp. Similar to Viki, but no commercial.

The father character’s name was never given in episode 37. He came to pick up his son and said immortals fight can last forever.

I have been stalking Amazon prime like WKX to ZZS to see if it will be pick up. No more commercial ;} thanks rewatching now!!!

The character can’t be CL because they show the grow up CL at the end of esp 36, who took over the 4 season manor and married to CXL with a daughter.

Yes. But future international fans who doesn’t follow the China media, when they see this on their country online services site like Netflix or Amazon will get the edited ending and won’t know to search out “speical ending”. That me mad and sad because they would think that is ending.

I understand that, but at the same time if they don’t add it back in the episode. I can only image if said Netflix or Amazon pick up this drama, then for future fan that butchered ending is the ending and it make me sad. I wonder if there a way for us petition to fix the ending for future viewing.

Ok...I don’t know how to feel. The script writer and Director did a great job to give us the viewers, the ending that we want and need. However, I don’t know if it was the producer or Yuoku or Chinese censorship, but they edit out the real ending because the episodes are usually 45-47 min long, but the final is 36-38 minutes. You need to pay extra to watch the last 7 min of the ending!!! And they call it a special episode! Did Yuoku do to get past censorship, no I don’t think so. I think Yuoku did that just get more money from this drama. My only hope is that they edit it back in for complete episode for the YouTube international fan because they would have all the money they can and it will be a month after the final airing, so everything has died down.
