1&2: the couple is part of the bagger clan. The bagger clan before the fallout of the ending of ep 16, thought that if they had the kids, they can used them as hostages for GC to give them the blue crystal. Because GC keep it a secret that Cheng Ling give GC his piece, the bigger leader thought Cheng Ling still have his price and went after him get it in battle chaos.
3: everyone (even ZZS )doesn’t know if GC is good person or not, the script writer want to everyone (viewer) to thinks that GC is not a honorable person, but then revealed that he actually a good person before his death. He is the “fake” big boss that writer set up for viewer and characters to fight against in the first arch. But actually, it revealed that He want to keep the pieces from everyone to keep everyone from killing each for the powerful manuals in the armory.
4: He thinks by marrying Cheng Ling and his daughter he can keep Cheng Ling safe. He thinks his clan is powerful enough to protected Cheng Ling till he is old enough to reclaim (rebuild) his clan.

I really believed everyone is in on the plan, even Xie , Scorpion King to set up Zhao Jing. While everyone (WKX, Cheng Ling and Shen Shenz) partly want to punish Zhao Jing, I think Prince Xi is trying to save Zhao Jing from himself. But, we will see on Tuesday.

Lol ... let bet which interpretation is correct...we will find out on Tuesday anyway. I really think ZZS doesn’t know. All the characters who was in the fake plan has to make people believe that WKS is dead that why Qian Qiao was acting out funeral scene. But, really the script writer want us the viewer to believe that WKS is dead too that why they have the Qian Qiao burning the paper money scene. If there were no spoiler trailer and leak photo, it would work.

I don’t think he know, because I don’t think he know that Qian Qiao has master the same skill. If she is good as him, you need to touch the mask to tell is fake. I think he burnt the corpse because he doesn’t want other people to have it and help distract the guard for Xaing to escape.
Rewatch the scene:
- If you watch how Zhang Zhe Han act out the scene: he calmly ask Qian Qiao “ is WKX inside there, then see the fake corpse. His expression change to surprises and then heartbreak (wish I paste the screen shot, I think this is Zhang best expression, it make Zhang look so beautiful - can email the screenshot, if you want) he then slowly lower his sword. He loses this step and about to rush inside , but stop when he hear Wei Ning call Xaing. Then he quickly burn the corpse to draw the guard.
Zhang acting is subtle and you can his sadness in the eye. I think his best scene so far. ZZS as a character doesn’t show his emotions to people he not close to, the only one who see him sad or cry is WKS. He leave calmly to drink with his sadness alone in the later scene whiling thinking about WKX.

I don’t think he know that Qian Qiao learn from his master. I believe he is in dark about the scheme. If you rewatch the scene, he asked Qian Qiao “is WKX inside there”, expecting him to be alive, but he seen the disguised corpse from a distance (he doesn’t touched it to know it is a mask)

From what I get, I think he thought WKX was alive till he saw the fake corpse... ZZS character doesn’t allow for to overly emotionally expression in front of someone he doesn’t know or trusted.

Lol...the perfect body after a fall...movie magic. However, from Zhang Zhe Han acting when ZZS saw WKX’s body and seeing him again in trailer, I am going to said he thought WKX was really dead. Also there is the line about his soulmate is gone...before taking the nail out. I think the script writer is setting up it for WKX give up something (why his hair turn) to cure ZZS. I am thinking it going to be something do with the immortality manual that Rong Xuan took from Bai Yi, which is partly in the armory. This is all my guess at the direction to plot. Also, I think Ye Bai Yi, Cheng Ling, Pretty ghost and Tricolormatic ghost (I think I spell it wrong) is in on the fake death plan.

From 3: I think Cheng Ling and Bai Yi was in on the plan faked death with WKX.

I think they felt the show wrong ZZS or jump the shark...lol

From trailer, WKY faked this death in ep 32 and everyone was in it ( well YBY and CL ) but ZZS. So in Ending of 32, ZZS in his sadness decided to avenge WKY but getting his full power back by taking out the nail, which only speed up his death.

Did anyone notice that the hairpin that WKY give ZZS was the one he had since he was little?

It is the companion book for word of honor book. They are a share universe book series. The 7th Lord and his ML have a guest appearances in the book and drama.

I thinks the script for this is great and the writer showed she loved the source material and know it well. Compared to other Priest work that has been adapted, I thinks it is the best term to storyline (so far, since two more Priest’s book to drama is coming and we are only more then half way away. Hoping the final act doesn’t mess it up). Especially compared to legend of fei, which is the same genre, Wuxia and the same CP characters types- one cold one flirty. They even have the plot device of a broken key to treasure trove that everyone want and fighting over. However, I have being thinking even with this great script, IF they had put an inexperienced or had bad actor playing WKX, his character could came off as very campy. Especially, when he go Inigo Montoya on everyone. What do you think?

Biological, no. They have the same master when they were little and live with each when WKY family was on the run.

The 2 boy from the third?? brother clan, who died offscreen. I forgot which brother 3rd or 4th is Cheng Ling’s father.

I think end of 13 and the beginning of 14. When they introduced baiyi. The most sassy character I saw yet.

Kai is in the same camp as you. She and I don’t think it ruin the relationship when they are from the same clan, which I don’t they are, but the same alliance. I think some just think it less the romantic factor or when they hear WKX get call “didi”, they see the love get downgrade to family affection.

I find this part of his character interesting, unlike usual “good good” guy. The two main characters are not so clean, but you are rooting for their HE.
