I just finished reading the book. I have to say, these actors do NOT fit my idea of the characters I had in my head :( Plus they have left out some of the main characters, like the uncles and Tawan’s best friend!
Just because the story is fictional doesn’t mean viewers should enjoy it. It took on very real topics. To tell…
I stand by my review. If you read all of it, I addressed the wrongs of the drama, as well as the dark themes. For some it could genuinely trigger them. However, those aren’t the ones I’m referring to as “woke”.
Like yourself, someone got me into watching Kdramas. She kept going on and on about “oh my Venus” on Viki. All of it sounded very foreign to me and I had no idea what she was talking about! And I thought it was a bit odd that she was so enthusiastic about a Korean language television show. So out of curiosity I looked up Korean TV shows on Netflix and found “falling for innocence”. It was my very first Kdrama and I have been watching them ever since! By the way that was four years ago! ;)
I’m intrigued, but I do like my dramas more heavily romance than anything else. What would you say the ration or percentage is of romance to thriller to action in this one?
