Title Police University Spoiler
As much as having Sun Ho be a bad guy would be an interesting plot twist in the end, I actually enjoyed the ride of this final episode. They really tried to end all loose ends and show most of the relevant characters and their achievements within the time skip of 2 years into the plot. Many people criticized this drama, but it was a fun and light ride amid all the good and intense dramas that have been released this year. It also showed good bonds between colleagues, family and friends and that all comes in the right time. Nice touch that Sun Ho left "Yoon, the hacker" behind and became Kang instead, and it's great that he has a spot assured as Dong Man's partner to catch the bad guys 🤣 this duo was the best, followed closely by Joon Wook and Beom Tae 😂 the bromance between these two was of the charts

You know what would be cool but at the same time unexpected and not sure if highly accepted by everyone? It would be Sun Ho be the "bad guy" [inserts Billie Eilish song] 🤣 farfetched scenario but I sure like that little cliffhanger ending at the end with Sun Ho smile and meeting his dad and Dong Man being informed that the gambling website apparently is still active even though ALL the main suspects are caught. His brother went to do Military Service and is hardly mentioned, I wonder if whoever is behind this now is connected to Sun Ho in a way, it could be his dad or bro who knows *craZy theories*

Okay, what?... XD these cliffhanger episodes without a preview just kill me. And for the last episode no less! Tomorrow better be worth it, because we NEEDED this plot twist after everything.😌🤣

It's all or nothing xD
Seen a lot like those, there will always be more. The ending are always leaving a bittersweet taste, surprisingly there are a few good ones though.
Let's see how this one will end next week ;) bet something well come up and he is the one now showing up where she planned to meet, who knows.

Yeah I've seen Vincenzo when it was on going xD woah it's been a while ever since, but I really enjoyed it. When it comes to dramas its like 8-80, some can be widely overrated while others underrated, the majority is good although with numerous clichés included 🙃 I feel like the let down tends to be with drama finales, not that they are all bad per se, but some could definitely be better or something. True. And the only thing she dropped there was him the minute they faced trouble, the poor guy 🤣

I'm sorry if you thought I was going to :\ I merely stated facts of my theories to answer your doubt about the subject, hopefully not being too cold or blunt there. I do agree with you, DM's reasons are still the strongest there although his working methods are well a bit reckless. One of the flaws particularly in this drama is those details in the plot and the fact that they tried so hard to create tension and build up to a thriller towards who the main culprit is, it became dragged towards the last few episodes and in my opinion it could have ben better with more plot twists. Ikr it's like Sun Ho found his dream by following her into the PA xD makes no sense but then again dramaland provides us this, so by all that and the preview of the next episode they will most likely end up together as you've stated as well. Also if we are going to the cliché part then we can say he fell for her, because well she threw him out into the air and to the ground the very first time they've met 😂 the thing I am glad they skipped here with them is the whole 'Oh we've met when we were kids' kind of "plot twist"

Title Police University Spoiler
Tbh I'm pretty much only into this drama because of Cha Tae Hyun and obv the whole illegal gambling and police…
I think Sun Ho is onto helping solve the case for many reasons:

one: He feels like he was the cause Dong Man couldn't catch the culprits when he hacked the gambling site, so feels responsible for that. Also he was the hacker Yoon, that Bird (Dong Man) texted whenever something came up so they have history in a certain way, it was only they met in the most unpredictable circumstances given that incident and well at the Police Academy.

two: He hacked the gambling site. TWICE. Sun Ho used the money for his father's surgery, but he also wired another amount of cash and gave it to his brother at the beginning telling him it was save up money for the other to go to university too. Not only did he committed a crime as well, but he smuggled the money from the foundation and they know.. Because on that episode from the games at the PA where they were trying to catch the potential culprit with his laptop he found the portrait of him with his father and brother smashed and took it as a warning. So, from then on it got personal and it's where Sun Ho got his resolve on taking the task seriously.

three: Sun Ho also noticed that there are several connections with the Tree Logo, that binds people around him with the whole issue of the gambling site, including Kang Hee's mother who is accused of being involved in it.

four: His friends are getting involved now too, so the quicker they get into the matter the better to avoid any further troubles. All that and the fact, that when trying to catch digital frauds and online criminals, time is always ticking. And Sun Ho can't always rely on his hacking skills because it's illegal although he had resorted to use them a couple of times already if he gets caught that only means his future can likely become compromised in more ways than one. Or worse for him, being the cause if something like that or worse happens to his friends.

five: He has a sense of justice. When he learned the culprit could be even closer than they thought he grew suspicious of even Dong Man's former partner, and in a way he was right. It feels wrong to have the "head" right under their noses, someone who is in force and order, and teaching them morals and ways to serve society as policemen while doing crimes is wrong, even if it those have their purposes or have gotten out of hands. Being one himself because of his hacking days, he feels like an example and in a way it works as a personal redemption too.

six: Sun Ho's commitment to help others.
He grew up always doing his best to please his father and brother while being shy and reserved in the "backstage" because he always felt like an outsider, the only solace he found was by fixing computers and learning he was quite good with technology to the point of developing hacking skills. He is selfless when it comes to helping those close to him and attending their needs. Like we've seen he jump right into helping his dad and his brother whenever they need to. The only time Sun Ho made a decision for himself, was by wanting to go the PA, and although it might seem shallow because he knew it was where his crush KH was going, he also took that personal incident when he hacked the site into consideration to turn his life around.

seven: This one can actually be a part of the whole sense of justice and caring for those he trust. Adding to that, is his accurate memory that recalls even the slightest details that pass by others. It's not a secret that Sun Ho sees Dong Man as someone with a role in his life, not like a father figure because he has one already, but more like a Friend, a Hyung, a Teacher and in certain ways a Partner. DM has become a role model in more ways than one. When he learns that DM's colleague got killed while chasing the same case they have now, and getting to know it's a personal matter to DM, he finds even more resolve to help the other in achieving his goal.

eight: Sun Ho has drawn attention already, and unintentionally made himself become a target. Unfortunately he knows it can be dangerous, but even worse he also knows that he can always be a liability for DM in all of this, because the culprits can use him as a wild card.

There's a plethora of reasons as to why Sun Ho is deeply involved now, it will only stop once they catch the criminal and unveil the secrets and layers behind the original foundation and why they resolved to resort into gambling to gain funds.

PS: The romance feels unnecessary too, makes everything even more cliché than it already is. She's is just as fickle as SH is. Her mother is a repeat offender and KH's done with having to feel anxious whenever her mother gets caught, understandable. But, placing Sun Ho in the same bag only shows the tiny amount of trust she had in him in the first place. Only to let go of him and everything when he needed her the most while knowing his life conditions and well him so far. They lack communication. It feels like it's a crush not nurtured enough to become a relationship. They were impulsive considering that. They should focus on their studies and graduating after all of this gets resolved, and perhaps later on if they feel give it another go or not, life is always unpredictable. But in k-drama land its always 8-80, bet it will be cliché xD

I am curious as to why the assumptions on Jin Young's role as Sun Ho seem to remark the character as supposed to be more of this and that, and all brave and smart instead of what he truly is meant to be from the start. I mean he lost his parents young and grew up being adopted, he is there but at the same time he feels like an outsider, someone not worthy of sharing the same things hence his formal relationship with his family, which slowly warms up but there is always a rift there. It's not that Jin Young's acting is bad per se, every character is different one cannot compare this role with others who are completely different or blame him being discharged. Perhaps in the script this is what his character was meant to act and be, fickle, indecisive, learning from his mistakes, unsure of his own emotions too. If we are going in that way, then, I liked Young Woo role in the drama "You make me dance", while in here his character is simply annoying and quite shallow, does he portray bad acting? Not necessarily.

That darn Tree logo was the hint all a long, however there is something else under the layers that seems a bit off. It probably has to do with her husband's death, if that is even real in the first place. Am really liking the friendship and loyalty of these three guys and Kang Hee thought that she was protecting Sun Ho by being against their plans, sure they are betting there more than they can handle, but it's for a greater cause. Curious for tomorrow's episode, I bet there are more people involved...

It seems like you like Greg Hsu and SOOD, so did you watch these, too?Patrick Shih: https://kisskh.at/64987-time-machineAlice…
Thank you for the info, and I know ratings here are misleading most of the time unfortunately, good thing I like to try it out and see for myself before trusting blindly on ratings and comments, after all everyone has different tastes even when it comes to dramas and acting. Woah 2 years later, is quite sometime, but then again respect for those of sub dramas and movies, there's always a lot of work and following the trends there are always some priorities that put works like this on the waiting list <<

Really loved this article, your edits and information are well done. Quite the talented list here. One of my favorites lately, that is not in this list is Greg Hsu, as you can probably tell by my profile pic :) PS: Jiro could share his secret of the holy fountain of Youth, because he does not look 40 at all

What is the point of adding that girl now? Lmao like I really hope her character will be useful to the plot or…
Based on the preview for the next episode, I think she's somehow linked to Mario and his past. She has a crush on Peach though, who wouldn't, right? I also hope her character will be useful and not inserted there as a mere filler to connect the plot holes of the storyline or something.

Fr everytime he talks about his mom, im internally screaming at Doo Shim to just take him to his mom for once.
Oh I remember, sorry it's a lot of theories with this. She seems to be the typical Korean mom in this kind of dramas where it involves high school or well education per se. Obsessed with academics and that her son has to be better than average. Does it makes them bad parents? Indeed it does. The last row students must all have something in common, bad relationships and environment at home, and being misunderstood by their parents or neglected in general. Hyun Soo was no different. But well that's right, Doo Shim wouldn't know about that and will probably find out now. And yet she also does not care. As we all could see she is quite reserved and refrains from meddling with her gift, she does not care about others because no one cared for her too. The only exception there seems to be Woo Soo now. Slowly he is breaking down her walls, something not even Hyun Soo could do while staying there for 10 years. Random thing but I do wonder where he goes off too whenever he disappears. The recent dead students are locked in the school, oddly enough Hyun Soo seems to be the only one outside and not entirely connected to the source enough to be summoned and locked too. Could his death be the first from this source of Evil? All the way back from 10 years ago and could it be that the principal is the same one from that time too? << am getting curious by the episodes, the shame that this is only once per week and only less than 20 minutes episode...

Research? 10 years is a long time she knows his death is around the same time her grandmother's death. She knows his name, at least trying to find out wouldn't be so hard instead of ignoring him and all the other spirits around her as well as her gift because it's a nuisance. Woo Soo in less time than she had, learned to communicate with the ghosts and that not every one is bad, most have stories to tell and unfinished business to solve that is keeping them there. She was surprised by him doing that because she never truly did *srughs*

And I never referred that his mom is the ideal parent either, but if its the only thing or way that will make him gain peace and move on in the afterlife, since its the only unresolved matter he has to solve then so be it. What bugs me is how he is pushed aside every single time as if he is annoying there for 10y, that was what I mentioned in my comment.

Same! I mean she had 10 years, they both could do some research for him to regain his memories, but well all in the name of plot that will only happen once they vanquish the evil spirit which was the same that killed Hyun Soo in the first place... I just feel bad for him, must be lonely for him to be content for gaining a "friend" when Il Nam was dying.. a lonely existence and always being cast aside there
