I liked this drama, a two day easy binge watch, I liked the way they wrapped it up at the end and the idea of…
This is so true, accept failure in order to achieve success and learn how to self-love is something everyone struggles at the end of the day and through life. The personal messages this drama has placed and some in a subtle way is really worth to see.
So, Gram just lets Eugene think it was Black all this time and never tells her the truth about White so he can get "his" girl?... woah how nice of him as Black's friend.... the ending felt a bit rushed, then again with 2 episodes short this was the best they could do and settle for a possible season 2 π€
About the duo of siblings on episode 7, how can they not notice their clothes? XD It was a hint that they were siblings from the start. They based the clothes from the duo AKMU, from when the siblings sang back in 2019, right here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajgodM_hHN8 The patterns and colors are close enough. Anyway it's a great performance, I really love the contrast of the brother's soothing voice with his sister's sorrowful tone ππ
Gram and my feelings about the character: His was one of my favorite ones. Because through this character we got…
I feel the same way about his lack of character development. Not only about all that you've mentioned, but there is far better and important things going on for all of them and Gram is there acting like a lost puppy around Eugene. Some best friend he is..... craving for his friend's girlfriend (now ex) and act now at the most vulnerable time. I also didn't like his attitude towards Black... How does Gram know she was always hurt when she was with Black? In the series and flashbacks, Black broke up with her to protect her from all the storm that was going on and he told her that but she not being in the right state of mind completely forgot what his last words to her were. The fact that he could get killed any minute and that he didn't want to put her in danger. The inconsistencies rely on both Eugene and Gram. It's like they are a filler into the plot. I feel like I've seen more of them than the main antagonists that should also be the focus of the series. I can't create a connection of hate or dislike towards them because they almost don't have any screen time, most of the time they are mentioned, mainly Tawi. Albeit that is the intention of the writers with the adaptation, trying to focus on creating an emotional connection with the main characters. Not Me is still a masterpiece though, I am loving it. But why do I feel they are leaving everything of the action and the whole plot to the last two episodes is beyond me.
OMG IT'S BEEN 84 YEARS OF WAITING, and even without subs their raw emotions say it all through the trailer ΰ²₯_ΰ²₯ the anticipation is real but Boun and Prem make it all worth it.
