Okay but seriously am I the only one liking SunWoo's character development so far? ._. he looks like a tiger puppy xD totally whipped too, the poor guy. Aish and here I thought that I wouldn't be feeling SML vibes here in the beginning.. but he is giving his all now isn't he? Am liking 3 men now << WooYeo, JaeJin and SunWoo, the three Dramateers (o゜▽゜)o☆ ALSO my ship is sailing, so let's get on board folks! JAEJIN and HYESUN are hilariously cute.
what did that guy put on Gye Sun Woo and Lee Dam's hands???!!!
he didn't put anything in them, he simply revealed that they have the red thread of fate that is biding them together as fated mates. Probably meaning if it weren't for Gumiho and Dam's accidental meeting she was bound to fall for SunWoo
I think the ending is supposed to be symbolic and not truly reality. I think it's what she wanted to happen and what she wanted to hear the most after dealing with the turmoil of feelings. RaRa wanted him back and to see him come back for her and that is what happened however could that be reality? No one else was around at the time, just her. So people automatically assumed stuff, but there's something off about Joon appearance. Too sudden after all that time and at the moment she played that tune to welcome him. Maybe that moment is the embodiment of her memories and her yearning that summoned him there coming through the door like he always did before, because she have always loved him and truly misses him. Makes no sense how they delivered us those tear-jerking scenes and lines from Mr. Kim and even Joon's mother, and all that grief of everyone only to refute all at the very end. Not that we don't want a happy ending, of course we do. But in a realistic drama this would be off putting almost as if something else was missing in that ending. Like a proper explanation, or a better reaction than that one, and perhaps see more reactions from other characters, to prove to us that it was really happening and not a mere illusion. Maybe it was meant to show us what she desires from the minute she learned what happened... That everyday when she plays that melody in the piano he returns home just for her. And he tells her what she wants to hear, hugs and kisses her, and they watch the stars and it's a constant cycle for her because its her way of dealing with everything that followed.
I don't know how to explain it but somehow this drama has a mysterious alluring charm ever since I've started following it and it makes me eager for each and every episode, despite the cliché plot and knowing about the story, it still has a fresh element maybe xD anyone else feeling like this too? I am hoping for a good last episode where they can wrap everything nicely.
so from the preview... she might have a crush on her best friend ChanKi? *hmm* interesting. Also am loving the bromance hints here. I could bet on that better than the cursed love triangle that I am sure nobody wants... myself included. Really liking the main characters so far, the realistic portrayal of a victim of abuse and trauma, JiHoon is doing a good job with expression and emotion development, we can see that better in episode 2. That scene where he desperately screams so to stop the confrontation, is clearly him facing a trauma. Not sure why the characters didn't realize that until he reaches a point of seeking help by calling HyunSoo that night, kudos for the other for acting fast and sending someone for help. It's a good start of a drama and it got me curious for the next episode.
WHAT the flying fudge was this episode and next preview?? CLICHÉ memory loss in a different way.... Oh goodies, seriously am I the only one SO DONE with that predictable plot line?? Also I can't stand the side ship in love triangle, JiNa annoys me to no end, she's clueless, impulsive and well did I mention annoying? Same with her love interests, I mean they are both manipulative or petty, there's no in between, although good looking. If I had to make a bet on one of them I would put my money on Cha, he seems the most reliable although more impulsive he knows what he wants, the other is just floating in soap or whatever.... AND THIS IS TURNING INTO A SOAP OPERA soon enough.... By now the only character development I am actually seeing is in Sun Kyung and Myulmang, when it comes to feelings and strengths with the people around them but rather than that everything and everyone seems to walk in a slow pace here. ALSO, am I the only one annoyed that they inserted a foreign "uncle" yet he seems to not know or understand properly Korean, and they hardly talk with him in English too? Just what the heck are these fillers with the mismatched talks? Makes absolutely no sense here if you ask me. Would be better to have a common ground and understanding one another. You mean to tell me that their aunt is living abroad, and is together with that guy and does not talk a word of English or vice versa with him in Korean? Again common grounds and communication are always a pillar, and here I find no structure whatsoever... Aishhhh, this is all seriously vexing... o(≧口≦)o *sighs*
Teh being a constant and Oh-aew a variable is only reinforced through this whole second episode. I think we can all relate in one way or another. An yet the acting is so engaging and earnest that is hard not to feel empathetic about the characters development.
I have no words for how transcendent this whole series is from the first season to the special made in a farewell of youth, and all the way to this second season of the first stages of adulthood responsibilities.
The stars are so related, like in every episode it seems like they drop hints for possible theories. A supernova reference? Is that what Myulmang might become? Will DongKyung wish upon the stars for his sake, if he ends up disappearing? Her wish being for him to love her, might seal that fate right away, because when people do love they tend to sacrifice themselves to save their better half…. it's all fated here and bound to happen, by now we are just watching the chess pieces moving now into the play.
Also like this and thankful there is no cringey romance, just action and a good story etc:)
It just proves that not every storyline has to have a romantic plot to be successful ;) we are in this to watch DoGi punish the bad guys and fight his inner demons after all :)
Ahhhh once again Kim DoGi providing us all the adrenaline rush we seek to see when we started this crazy ride in a Taxi Deluxe style. What a rollercoaster this has been ever since they exchanged screenwriters, although I must say the action and the way they filmed it, it pays off in a twisted way.
Jimmy and Tommy did it once again, they had me smiling wide through 14 minutes well spent of my time :') really loved their story, and the fact that is set in the 90's what a blessed retro vibe from them. My only complain is that its too short, and it deserved a whole series just on them (o゜▽゜)o☆
am sorry Dawon, you probably are all for the comical relief here hence why I was laughing at your crying scene xD then again there were many moments to laugh in this episode, mainly with Myeolmang, woah what a sneaky creature he is kkkkk I love him already, hope DongKyung will too ;)
