This drama was most likely never going to see the light of day because of the hallyu ban back then and Zhang Zhe Han's controversy (that put a hold on all his drama being released to this day in China). LalaTV (a Japanese company) purchased the rights to this drama and now it's being aired.
It started off okay but slowly derailed in quality and direction by episode 15 and up. The story was simple enough but they though to add in a female rival for the FL in the last four episodes (this chick came out of nowhere) and a girl they hired (in the last five-six) episodes to draw out the story. It really ruined what could have been a decent show.
I was also was not a fan of the leads relationship at a certain point because the ML was doing all the work in their relationship. He was the one who set dates, gave her gifts, constantly checked in on her, cooked her meals...etc (basically everything you do in a relationship but the FL couldn't even do the bare minimum). It irritated me because she'd do more for the clients she'd suck up to then for him. He was also met with pullback when they became an official couple. It seemed very immature on her part and it actually made me start to dislike the FL by the end of the drama.
When Ruo Hua's mom put her daughter down in episode 7 by telling her Kai Ze would never want someone like her because of her poor background, average looks, and meek personality, it really broke my heart. Kai Ze may very well not be a great guy (he has a few red flags I'm noticing) but she shouldn't have to put her daughter down to get her point across.
It's perplexing to see the difference between the two mothers. One wants to be better for her daughter so she can live and the other wants to smother her daughter to death and has no intentions of getting better.

I've only watched five episode so far but this drama clicked for me in the first episode. It's a ten for me so far as well. I don't care about the small romance I'm just rooting for all 4 FL's to be happy and healthy by the end of this drama.
Why are so few people watching this masterpiece on here? The acting, the writing, and the tone of this drama is perfection. I hope it's doing well in China.
I feel like I watched 2 and a half hours of nothing. Good thing both ML's and the FL were pretty to look at, so I don't feel like I completely wasted my time.
I don't know what this story is about but one thing we can count on when it comes to this screenwriter is that the FL will be strong; be in intelligence, strength, or wit. She's not going to be a pushover or some damsel in distress.
This is a typical family drama so if you're not use to long dragged out plots then this may not be the drama for you. I had to do quite a bit of skipping (like the FL's mothers love story, the brothers love story and the 2fL and the FL's boss scenes).
The FL has a very strong and dominant personality so she may not be everyone's cup of tea but after episode 2 I think she mellows out and you can tell she's a genuinely kind and considerate person. I loved her from the first episode but again she's not for everyone.
The ML on the other hand was okay. He came off a bit standoffish and antisocial but he wasn't bad until maybe 3/4's into the drama (because that's when his ex forces herself back into his life).
I did overall enjoy the drama and I found the chemistry between the leads to be quite strong even with all their bickering (I actually enjoyed the bickering). I think when the 2FL was introduced and then stamped in front of the ML my love for this drama kind of diminished (it's an 8 but it had the potential to be a 9). I found the 2FL to be pathetic, obsessive, and borderline psychotic and it didn't sit right that after all that she did, was basically shaken off because "she truly loved the ML".
Props to the ML's mother and ML's nephew. They were real ones and always on the FL's side. The MIL said it best, "I will accept no one but Xia Ran (FL) as my daughter in law" and she meant that with her whole chest.
