I'm not going to lie, when I first saw the trailer for this drama I did not think I'd like it much less the FL because she came across as childish in the trailer.

But I have grown to really love the character of A Yin. As a water beast she has such a short life span and the least amount of power amongst everyone. But even with all that she has always kept her spirits high and she goes out of her way to protect her friends. But from the moment she was hatched she hasn't been given any sort of reprieve. She was banned together with Gu Jin against her will, betrayed by the people of Daze mountain that she probably considered family , and plotted against constantly by the Peacock chick and Heavenly Empress who could care less about Gu Jin as a person.

For some reason she's always public enemy number one when anything goes awry, when all she wants to do is marry Gu Jin and have her own place to call home, but poor girl can't catch a break.

I've already seen the spoilers on Twitter so I know I'm going to be bawling quite soon when I see it in full context of what happens to her and I'm not ready. 😭

I think she actually had really great chemistry with her co-star in "A date with the future" so I will never fault her acting capabilities. I just don't think she can kiss.

(I have only watched three episodes of Love is Panacea so I can't judge her chemistry with Leo Luo but I did so other people complaining about it as well.)

I'd have rather not have had a taste of that side dish. Personally the story was decent enough but since romance was added in, I critiqued that part because I felt that was the achilles heel. But I get that not everyone will agree with my opinion but that's just how I felt while watching.

I wonder why they never aired this.

This drama wasn't the best or the worst. It's a solid 7/10 (C) for me. I feel like the romance wasn't really fleshed out. Most of the drama they though the other were still in love with someone else but not once did they discuss this when it was clear they were starting to fall for each other. It just felt weird.

This makes me want to read the book.

I was hoping if they pulled any kind of card they'd do after the wedding. I just wanted A Yin to experience a wedding. She was looking forward to this wedding so much 😭But the writer couldn't give us that.

Not me actually thinking we'd see a wedding in EP 13 🤡

I hope they change the title before they release this. How many dramas/movies have the same title.

I'm only five episodes in but I'm shocked by how quickly they kill off villain characters. I'm use to dramas dragging there deaths so it was a nice surprise. I'm enjoying the leads, especially the FL. She's beautiful, smart, abrasive and an amazing fighter.

The Story of Mystics sounded way better then Fangs of Fortune.

The only reason why this little boy is the lead is because his father funded the entire drama. He can't act and he doesn't even try to because he doesn't have to put in work like the real actors.

I'm glad he left his management team. He's a great actor with good looks but the roles he gets are not good enough. He has the ability to do so much more then what he is given and he should always be the ML never supporting.
