I don't blame you . They really didn't develop that story or maybe it is the SFL who just does not make it believable.
They should have gave him an older LI and someone he's more compatible with. He acts like a teenage boy around her. Which is really odd because he has dating experience.

The main couple are lovely but there are too many minor characters and everyone of them is beyond obsessed with the lead couple. I'm also not feeling the second couple at all. I don't understand how and why they're into each other, they don't make any sense and the actors have zero chemistry together. After 21 episodes I'm going to start skipping there scenes and only focus on the main couple.

I'm getting annoyed to her. She's just taking advantages to Gu Jin and even the Heavenly Emperor
If they can't see through her tactics it's their own fault. She only goes to Gu Jin when she needs something. It's been 200 years and she hasn't really had much communication with the Emperor, so she decided to spark up the past by tossing her pouch in an effort to use him as well and it worked.

I personally don't like nor dislike her. She's doing these things for her clan.
