I actually don't get her brother's story tbh.. I mean is he alive for 200 years or was born with LZY... Why he kinda hate her? And why he was not comfortable with XQ... And now I'm guessing he killed LZY's father...
Check the ep guide, there are some haters who rated the eps that haven't air low resulting in lower rating.
Don't know what's wrong with MDL... Can't they just close the rating and review section until a drama finish airing... It is beneficial for all dramas..but it does not occur to the developers..sigh!

Bai Jue seperated his body into two parts: Bo Xuan and Qing Mu... Bo Xuan has origin of immortal powers and Qing Mu is created to absorb Demonic Powers by Bai Jue... Bai Jue wants to cultivate Power of Chaos (Origin power of Shang Gu) by balancing the two powers in his own body, but he cannot do it directly because of his Immortal power origin. If he forcibly absorb Demonic Powers into his body, it will destroy his body and spirit, so he created a different body from his own spirit and he is Qing Mu.
But his plan wasn't to awake Qing Mu's consciousness, it was a mistake that Qing Mu gained his own consciousness. Because of this Bo Xuan fell into coma. The gaining of his own consciousness by Qing Mu is actually a danger to Bai Jue's own life. If not saved by someone and help Bo Xuan to gain consciousness, Bai Jue could have died for always but his awakening is the end of Qing Mu. Bai Jue did so to save Shang Gu from Tribulations of Chaos and to took her place to sacrifice himself to Destruction Chaos to save Shang Gu and the three realms altogether...
He wants Shang Gu to live safe and well because he also has guilt that if he didn't trained her and made her to understand the responsibility to save the world, she won't had sacrificed herself...

It's actually good! Got a 9.5 rating from me... 0.5 I reduced because of the tons of blood spitting scenes which kinda annoyed me.. and the turn ending took.. the last episodes are just in okay category but overall it is an entertaining drama...
Does anyone find it ridiculous someone on tli kept commenting to me that alp viewers are the reason tli gotten…
I have finished watching TLI, but I find that drama average, though I enjoyed some parts... Even if not compared with ALP and considered as an independent drama, it's still just watchable... I watched it as independent drama because all the names and backstory changed by makers.. but still it was average... So, I'll never re-watch it but you can still give it a try... On TLI page, some LuSi fans are really toxic and tagging others as haters for no reason... I'm a Lusi fan myself, but what I care the most is good script....
