You should definitely watch it... LYF is not a typical romance drama.. There is much more than just romance... This is a reverse harem genre and there are no reincarnations...

The 1st ML is cousin of FL but he have some romantic feelings for her, she fall in love with 2nd and 3rd MLs and the 4th one is like a friend to her but he also proposed her for marriage... This is the first season of this drama and FL still didn't end up with anyone yet...

It's not that I can't read the novel or not have access to the works you mentioned, it's just I never want to.. it's not my taste nor I want to develop one... I'm fully satisfied with the drama... The drama's main focus is on the hypocrisy of society which made it in my favourites. I don't need romance in everything.. I loved them as friends and it's enough for me... It's just every person has different taste... I'm totally fine where I am so I don't want to enter the world you mentioned... But still, I respect others' preferences, you watch what you like, and I see what I prefer... So, I will never change my mind even in future... please do not waste your efforts on me.. :-)

I know about the Chinese ban, actually the thing is, this drama also attracted a lot of criticism as well because it does not follow the novel completely and exactly... I have read many reviews of viewers who have read the novel and criticizing the drama for this purpose and they rated very low...
