Wow, man, chill. I am mature enough, trust me, and very experienced viewer. I watch more than most people, I really enjoy series and movies from all over the world all my life, I even write reviews, scenarios, host a movie club, etc. I can professionally pick apart why these series are bad from the point of storytelling, writing, dialogues, camera angles, acting, directing, etc. But I just said that I don't like it because it makes me physically sick to watch such a mentally ill person on screen. I don't want to explain it to you psychology wise, but I studied psychology at the university so please don't force my hand so to speak. Herr Freud would love it. You imagined too many things about me, so please hear this without any malice or accusation, or desire to offend you - you are seriously overthinking it and being over dramatic over something as unimportant as internet comment. The friend who suggested the series to me is one of my best friends ever and our tastes in BL are normally 90% the same, hence anything my friend suggests I watch, because I know we think alike and the rec would be very good. You are probably onto something with young adult content, because age wise I am not falling into this category, and I prefer more mature and elaborated stories. But the truth is anyone who is making such content are also very very adult people. School children are not making series about school children for school children and I personally think that is the key problem because adults decide what kids should like, but let's don't go there. I don't know the Thai BL industry good enough to know all of the Idol factory projects, but quick search showed The Sign which I enjoyed a lot. Was it perfect? Absolutely not, I can name a gazillion flaws and ways it could be better but I rated it 9.5 on MDL because it was honestly entertaining. The purpose of audio-visual content as you name it, is not only to produce art for art's sake, but also to entertain. There are even worse series, for example Cutie Pie, which is pure young adult nonsense, it's realistically so bad, but I always name it as one of my favorite Thai Bls, because it was so entertaining! Even Oscar winning movies are not all very good, and some are just not to my taste, and guess what? THAT IS OKAY. It is okay that we are all different and we like different things. Secret crush is just something I strongly dislike that's it. There is no need to get angry or offended by it, no need to look into people's personal relationships, no need to project things onto others. It's just an opinion of one of 8.1 billion people of this world. Chill. Breathe. It's all gonna be alright.
The cringiest series I have ever seen. Toh character is visually disgusting with all his facial expressions and garbage hoarding habbit. To the point it makes me physically sick. He is either mentally challenged or a psycho, or both. Which makes Nuea persecuting him even worse. Idiotic behavior of Toh overshadows Nuea to the point he almost looks normal. But Nuea is also a pervert exhibitionist who openly gets off of Toh's voyer obsession of him by undressing and walking naked around him to cause nosebleed. Everymoment watching them is just eww. Other couples are also questionable. The smallest boy Khao is considered fat? Wtf. He is also a trinket hoarder. So there is really weird fatphobia and transphobia tropes, low key homophobia, that all end up ignored and dropped. Voyeurism/exhibitionism is somehow disgusting and not kinky in the least. I dunno, at the moment this is the worst series I have ever seen. Just 🤢🤢🤢 The only positive thing is a really loyal friend group. As someone who is obsessed with vampires and watched and read and played all of the vampire stuff in the history of humankind, I can tell you this is the worst on my list. I don't even know where do I begin, because absolutely everything is bad. The only thing I liked and relate to is the character saying "Acting so sucks like this" in English subs. One scene and next episode preview didn't have subs at all. You might say "Learn Thai, they aren't making series for you" and yet they did write names of "Blood Tank" and "Thaiwailaight city" in English for some reason. Sleeping in the coffin for 100 years is so "Heartbeat" (bad, but visually beautiful Korean dorama), and the cocktail making scene is so clearly "KinnPorsche" - even the outfit and the hand kiss match. If this was supposed to be a parody, viewers should have been warned. Also not funny. Rating this 1 out of 10 solely for Lee Long Shi, I just like him for no reason.

I have read the novel. Gear didn't just make unsolicited sex tape, he also raped Night, hence why Day did the same to Itt because Itt was the one who came up with this brilliant idea. It doesn't make any sense to me that absolutely every couple in the novel (and there are many) begins their relationship with rape and then just fall in love and live lovey-dovey together. There is no process, no point, no one is making any conclusions, no redemption arc, just rape-assault-more rape-more assault-victim starts loving being raped-marriage. Wtf.

Literally every character except for the guard in the club who said about car accident and the resort manager were in the series. They are all played by different actors so maybe that got you confused. Series are much more confusing in my opinion, which is why I read the novels, but honestly I wish I never did haha.
