This man can fit in any kind of role ... action, comedy, romantic, villain anything .
I love him in pretty much any role, but I sure hope he does another comedy after this, something less strenuous. Maintaining that kind of body is exhausting.
Who do you think is helping Ji Hyuk by sending him the messages? Who signaled him from the other building, pointing him to that locker where he found the video he had recorded of himself? My money is currently on his partner, because obviously if he set this stuff up beforehand he must’ve needed someone outside of his circle of suspects, but presumably still part of the organization. Plus she wouldn’t raise suspicions. Just my thoughts; I’m probably wrong.
The Veil was worth the wait for real! Hoping it’ll remain great until the end! Torn between being relieved and…
It's only twelve episodes, but since the runtime for each episode is actually almost an hour and 20 minutes, the total time is close to 16 hours anyway.
I think the only part of this drama that really, truly bothered me was the last episode. The whole “stay out of contact for a year, for really no good reason, then do a poor job of communicating once we DO see each other again, so we misunderstand each other” is such an annoying cliche in K-Dramas. It was such a poor decision to do that in the final episode, and really dropped my enjoyment of a pretty good drama. I also think it was at least a couple episodes too long, it probably only needed 16 episodes, 18 at the maximum.
Does anyone happen to know where this drama takes place? Not where it was shot (I read Seoul), but does it actually…
Pretty sure the drama is set in a fictional city, so we really don't know where in Korea it's "supposed" to be. I think they specifically don't mention which city the team is based in, but I could be wrong.
Great drama overall; I thought the ending for Baek Seung Soo was a bit of a gut punch, but they softened it well. This felt a lot like watching Chief Kim, but in the realm of baseball instead of accounting, and with many more heartfelt moments than comedy.
Gotta say, the only person I'm not a total fan of in this drama is Su Hyeon. She's just not that interesting, partially because it seems like greatest purpose of her existence as a character is to be Ga On's almost-girlfriend. Because she is pretty much the only truly "good" character in this drama – in the sense that she wants to do everything according to the law – she comes off as 1-dimensional and almost foolish, because she doesn't see that the law can't solve everything when there are corrupt people in power.
He’s also a singer, so this year he seems to be focusing on that part of his career. He’s been in two stage musical productions this year: The Count of Monte Cristo (November 2020 - March 2021) and Dracula (May 2021 - August 2021). He's posted some promotional pictures on his instagram, and I think he looks super sexy as Dracula. I'd watch him play a vampire. https://www.instagram.com/p/CK5K0iKlFoz/ https://www.instagram.com/p/CN8sfAWFhbr/

I'm just sad they don't release full dvd recordings of the musicals; I'd love to have seen all of them, because I've heard him sing on Master in the House and I like his voice. All of these musicals have some memorable tracks, such as: 1) This is the Moment / 지금 이 슨간 - Jekyll & Hyde 2) Life After Life / 영원한 삶 - Dracula 3) Hell to Your Doorstep - The Count of Monte Cristo
I honestly hated this drama. Watched 11 episodes and didn't enjoy a single moment except for Oska's hilariousness. The main couple had no chemistry for me, and the main lead was just an asshole. This drama was just too stupid, and not worth my time.
So…. Where to begin. So he died right? We all cried he died on the rooftop. I understand why she visited that…
Your guess is as good as mine. One theory I've heard is that the ending is supposed to be like the Beauty and the Beast, since that movie was featured in a shot near the end. In BATB, the prince dies before being "resurrected" because the curse is broken, so I think the ending is supposed to imply that after dying to save all those patients, Ji Sang was miraculously resurrected...somehow. To be completely honest, I disliked everything about this drama except for Ji Sang's best friend. Once he died I completely lost interest in the story and just dragged myself to the end to be done with it. And the ending was so poorly executed that I still wonder why people liked this drama. I personally gave it the lowest possible rating, because it was just that bad.
btw no hate to the actor Ji Sung at all. He's a really good actor as he made me hate this character so much lol.
Yeah, I love Ji Sung too. I think this was such a strange role choice for him, since he typically plays very assertive characters, so it was really off-putting to see him play this very wishy-washy, sort of unlikeable character.
I agree, Kim Bum was the only character in ToNT that I cared about at all. Still pissed that his character died in the end. Anyway, I wouldn't say that Rain can't act, but I would definitely agree that Kim Bum is likely to outshine him. I'm going to stay optimistic about this drama for now.

He'll also be in a musical production of Jekyll & Hyde later this year.
