Zhang Ruo Yun said goodbye, but he'll be back

Rough translation:
Life
Is not long
Is not short
During these five years,
Fan Xian has grown up
The story continues
Thank you
Thank you all
It’s all of you who accompany Fan Xian
We have traveled through these five years
Enter the depth of the story
Also Fan Xian
Has been with you during this period of time
The world is very big
It’s so big that maybe people will spend their whole lives
It’s also difficult to see every corner
Time passes ruthlessly
And the best luck
Nothing more than
To be with some people
Because some fate
Hold us each other
Invisible line
Spend a long time together
Thank you
Because you are all here
In this world
Only then we can be thankful for the “Remaining Years” (referring to “Joy of Life”
It’s time to say goodbye again
But don’t worry
Joy of Life
I will finish this story
Lets make one together
A complete dream
Time flies
And its really invisible
It’s between us
In my heart
A moment of warmth
Goodbye

Wait for me to come back

That's what I heard too, that the novel is a lot darker and mess up than the drama. Glad I am not a reader, don't think I have enough patience to read hundreds of chapters anyway. And thankful for Wang Juan!

it was implied in that episode 29 when FX tried to save the emperor

When people complaining that S2 ended with another open ending 🤦‍♀️

I tried to watch Blossoms in Adversity while watching JOL S2 and I got bored.....oh well. Maybe once I'm over JOL I can try to continue.

S1 was more cohesive could be because it had more episodes. But you said acting was meh then you probably sleeping or maybe this kind of drama just not your type. Zhang Ruo Yun's acting NEVER disappoint. S1, S2, SSS, Under the Microscope, he delivered all - one of the best actors. And S2 Ending - well, knowing there is S3, everyone should have expected this season to have a somewhat cliffhanger ending and leaving many questions that would be answered in the finale. At least Fan Xian didn't get stabbed this time.

? He knew from the very beginning that FX is not his son.

why do you think it deserves a lower rating?

It has always been planned for 3 seasons, but it wasn't planned to span 5 years between S1 and S2. It just happened, everyone got busy. We hope it won't be another 5 years for S3. But even without S2, S1 is still a masterpiece. And S2 too.

huh???? what are you talking about?? In China, couples wear red wedding outfit long before CCP exist. It has nothing to do with CCP🤦‍♀️ In many Eastern cultures, red symbolizes luck, prosperity, and joy. In China, red is associated with good fortune and happiness.

haters or stupid viewers who don't get it

I saw that post🤦‍♀️ What is really the point of asking other people about the story.....If you want to know just watch.

interesting....I watch on wetv and I would have thought they have a proper sub....

I am in the US / North America.

You're asking all these questions that you can just watch by yourself.

Yes

what's up with the sub??? It's a mess.

I just hope in between S2 and S3, Wang Juan would spare some time to write SSS S2.....

oh dear. I know from rumors that ZRY signed for 3 seasons but, do we have to wait another 5 years??

I hear you!! Urgh hate his hair style in BF!! This one looks much much better, reminds me a lot of his style in One and Only
