On a side note, this whole show is told by the people around Sarah Kim and Sarah Kim herself. The entire narrative…
Okay to rephrase, I don't believe the scenes that were shown either. It is possible that she was actually the one who planned the murder, instead of her acting in self-defence. This is all a she said, he said situation.
This show isn't free of its plot holes but some of the "loopholes" yall talking about are actually just…
On a side note, this whole show is told by the people around Sarah Kim and Sarah Kim herself. The entire narrative is biased and we don't actually know which parts are real or fake. I wouldn't be so quick to trust what Sarah Kim described as the truth at the end.
This show isn't free of its plot holes but some of the "loopholes" yall talking about are actually just your misconceptions and lack of understanding of the plot......
This show mentioned and showed so many actual brands: Chanel, Hermes, Dior, etc... And took a massive jab at all of them. Daring. I do wonder if they used the actual bags in the show.
I've been waiting for this show for about a year, but there has barely been any PR for it. Crime dramas and thrillers…
Even for a crime thriller, the amount of promotion is tragic. Netflix at least held cinema screenings for some of their thrillers. Either they spent all the marketing budget on CTLBT, or they think this won't be a hit and can't be bothered to promote it at all.
Sung Dong Il and Keum Sae Rok are miscast. The dad should be portrayed as someone who's going to great lengths because of his desperation, but SDI is not giving that yet. Meanwhile KSR comes across as an arrogant rich kid shouting in court to prove her point. Or maybe that's how her character is supposed to be but it's not appealing at all. During the court scenes, something feels off. There's supposed to be an intensity and conflict between the teacher and student, but there's nothing imo. The only one who I think fits the role a little is Ryeoun.
Plot-wise, this show is clearly not realistic at all but the hook works for now; though anyone who isn't morally corrupt should know that the guy is just a serial killer through and through. Being an evil murderer and the inventor of all cures are not mutually exclusive. So the moral dilemma needs to be centered on what should be done by the prosecution -- give him the right punishment immediately or consider the possibility that he can cure all diseases, and grant him his favour of "proving himself to the world".
It looks interesting but it's crickets from Netflix when it comes to this show, compared to the promotion fest done for Can This Love Be Translated. Like I almost forgot about its existence before I saw this article. Hopefully that doesn't mean the internal reviews were unfavorable...
So, she's a rich and powerful woman who isn't satisfied with her status and wants to get even more rich and powerful... Not sure if that's supposed to be appealing but okay
13.6m USD! That amount is just insanity. Dude had everything and still screwed up... let's see if he can somehow find a loophole around this (I doubt so)
Netfilx so famous than disney and even their shows not that good it will be has high rate but in my opinion I…
I'm not saying they don't have good shows (they do, but their promotion sucks and they mostly end up flopping), they just don't seem to have a good long term plan.
People saying this lineup is better than Netflix's have to be kidding. Most of their biggest shows this year -- Remarried Empress, Delusion, Perfect Crown -- are all expensive, flashy fantasies. A.k.a., "Let's make these hallyu stars dress up in pretty clothes, now all their fans are gonna subscribe". What diversity? To me, it's almost like they're just throwing money everywhere, and yet somehow they still forget to market their own shows 🤦♂️ Last year's lineup looked better than this.
The average quality of Netflix originals is nothing to write home about either, but at least you can see that they have a strategy. One huge show with the biggest names, one experimental show starring newcomers, mix of thriller/romance/historical genres, mix of commercial shows and potential sleeper hits.
Overall, not a fan of either but you can never convince me to subscribe to Disney Plus.
