Kim Eun Sook, Park Ji Eun and now Hong Sisters' latest dramas have had disappointing writing. These hyped scriptwriters seem to be losing their touch... Clearly, fame isn't everything, is it?
I like how people are looking forward to Kim Jaewook more than Gong Myung who's the lead.. And I have to say I…
Yeah they should put some effort into the promos. If I'm not wrong, this show will likely air in the same period as Perfect Crown which is projected to be a huge hit. So there's going to be strong competition. (The cast here is popular too but IU and Byun Wooseok are the hottest hallyu stars)
This guy has 3 upcoming main roles itβs giving industry plant. He never caught my eye in the previous dramas…
YES, he's taken supporting roles in many big productions yet never gave a good memorable performance (usually he acts awkward as hell next to better actors), and suddenly he's paired with actresses like Kim Goeun. WTF! He'd better improve his acting by now π«
If you every wondered how it feels like being an AI model going through training, this movie is for you π Once the AI rubbish was introduced it was unbearable to watch! Yet another movie about "AI gone wrong" that was just not executed well, after Wonderland.
Well... It's not bad but 9.1 is a VERY inflated number, considering there are many better medical dramas from Korea and they don't have such a high rating. Personally, this drama belongs in the 8.0 - 8.5 range.
And I thought the drama was bold enough to raise issues on abortion, but they end up chickening out after one episode. You've got to be kidding me... And WTF is with the hospital chairman adopting the victims after hearing their sob story?? He's suddenly portrayed to be a saint? And the case ends just like that?? With no proper closure??? So they just brushed aside the shadiness of the hospital..?
Yeah I'm done. Dropping this. If you want to talk about social issues, do it properly! What is this half assery?
Abortions are allowed by law in Korea. This is a law drama with pro bono lawyers, who obviously go by the law,…
...So you yourself agreed that the case is realistic, which means such problems happen in real life. That is literally the opposite of propaganda... And how is the drama romanticizing abortion, when no abortions even happened in the show? π€¨
The latest episode is definitely interesting, but correct me if I'm wrong, weren't abortions only legalized in…
Not clear about the specifics, but abortions used to be allowed for specific cases like health risks and rape. I'm assuming here since it was a teenage pregnancy with possible health risks, most hospitals should have suggested further check ups or abortion.
Abortions are allowed by law in Korea. This is a law drama with pro bono lawyers, who obviously go by the law, not people's moral opinions. So, what's the problem here again?
Agreed! Also, if Mo Eun plotted for so long to punish these 3 people, I think she could have managed it without…
The ending scene was indeed so lame and forced... Sure, Moeun helped Yunsu at the end but they were far from being on good terms, and they barely even knew each other... Did they forget who was the one who put Yunsu through all that torture?
Agreed! Also, if Mo Eun plotted for so long to punish these 3 people, I think she could have managed it without…
I also thought Yunsu did kill her husband at first, until I saw her sloppy ass murder attempt and realized I overestimated her LMAO. Feels like Jeon Doyeon's talents were a bit wasted here.
Agreed! Also, if Mo Eun plotted for so long to punish these 3 people, I think she could have managed it without…
Yeah looking back, what was with Yunsu acting so strange at the start?? I guess this is why I didn't really connect to both leads, they both felt inconsistent.
Agreed! Also, if Mo Eun plotted for so long to punish these 3 people, I think she could have managed it without…
Yeah Moeun honestly had a crap plan of killing the parents first then sitting on the couch for ages, almost like she was waiting to get caught... Girl, at least have a backup plan for your long awaited revenge! I know it was just the setup for the FLs to meet each other in prison but it could have been less forced.
Looking back, it's just so underwhelming how the entire flow of events turned out to be: - Yunsu thought Moeun was constantly stalking and threatening her --> actually she wasn't - Yunsu killed the grandson --> actually she didn't - Yunsu is so screwed because Moeun knows she didn't kill him!! --> actually it's fine because he ended up dying anyway... - Who is this invisible force that orchestrated this whole thing??? --> a psychopath lady that barely appeared in the show who killed the guy for a stupid reason...
Like??? Ultimately, it's just a shame how it went from that premise to such a predictable ending arc of 2 FLs teaming up to catch the real killer...
I have mixed opinions on this show. The show starts out with a dark deal being made between the 2 leads, showing promise for a very complex and twisted story. The show builds up the suspense and mystery very well, and finally, things start to get revealed... Each reveal is unexpected, but at the same time it kinda deflates the narrative, or should I say, "chickens out"... And the very last reveal is the most underwhelming of them all. It just feels like without the mystery and suspense, it is actually a very generic and safe crime story. With that title "Price of Confession", there wasn't really a price that was paid... And I was expecting a twisted story a la Park Chanwook's masterpieces. I guess it was a mismatch of expectations.
how ironical that he committed a crime that his own character was investigating for years.
Yeah wtf, the case that his character was desperately trying to uncover was a student r*pe case... Except his is much worse because he was involved in 4 COUNTS OF R*PE OF DIFFERENT GIRLS! This is a whole new level of shameless! π‘
this Jo Jin woong guy was a juvenile rapist and robber in school days in real life π
And just like that, Signal is tarnished forever for me... Imagine portraying a policeman desperately uncovering the truth behind a school rape case, when you yourself were a juvenile rapist. Laughable.
Yeah I'm done. Dropping this. If you want to talk about social issues, do it properly! What is this half assery?
