I noticed that there was a countdown - did Youku reveal something about how they plan on releasing the rest of the episodes?

😂 That's exactly what I came here to ask. I really hope so!

Exactly. You can only hope and pray (if you're religious) for these actors. I've been burned by the C-ent industry, and I think it's a terrible place. Hopefully, the fandom can be supportive and positive for these two.

From what I've witnessed in other fandoms, they're going to try hard. I wish both actors luck.

Have you read Thousand Autumns, though? Its 100% translated now, extras too! If you like SVSSS and 2ha, you will probably like TA. Politics are intense, though.

It seems like that's the route they're going in. I know for Untamed, they had some of the actors in a type of intense "acting camp" with coaches. I learned this from Jiang Cheng's actor's interview. He was very inexperienced in acting, but they chose him for JC (which is a hard role to play). I think they might do the same for Zhai Xiao Wen. I'm curious to see his portrayal of Xie Lian but the donghua's was so good and true to the novel... this adaptation has a lot of prove! The bar is set so high.
