I don't like it because the FL is too perfect.

She calls the man who is a serial cheater in their marriage her best friend. She accepts this with no issues. She continues to work with them in the company with no issues.

It's good to have a mature FL who doesn't need saving but it is not good to make her so perfect that there is no crack in the story where the ML can squeeze through. Their story is pretty stalled IMO, too flat. It needs a bit more oomph.

There was an interview and they know the public doesn't like the storyline but they are looking for excuses by saying it will explain the background of the FL in the end.

Sure, all that piano playing and the rest sure will do that and her background sure is so important that it needs a separate side story that is overwhelming the main one in screen time 🙄

There are very few real break outs in cent. Just because they say it, doesn't mean it actually happened. Water data exploding is not the same as real data.

When it does happen it's actually usually not something like this. It is like this summer with Wei Daxun. He wasn't being promoted, he was actually suppressed. But real people loved him so he had a great summer.

I find the beginning of ep 19 very unrealistic. I ended up rolling my eyes at it all. The writer is trying too hard to make FL into some mature saint. Not to mention we are still dragging this line and it is over half the drama over.

This is very common in cdramas. It always goes something like this. Hire well known names, insert people (often nobodies) that the company wants to push, insert lots of water and change the script that they get way more screen time. The mains attract audiences and then they get them instead. Classic bait and switch. It never works but they keep doing it.

The bad effects are less visible with web dramas because water data can be bought but when you have a TV show like SBMS, you can't buy ratings and you can't hide when the audience is switching the channel. Here the new YBY just about destroyed them. Today is visibly better but the damage is done. Getting the audience back is no easy feat.

One only has to take a look at what happened yesterday and it's very clear that audiences hate it.

The little that is known about this drama says that ML2 is the guy who the ML is chasing. This person murdered his family when he was a child. So LHY can't play that role, even if he is cast in the drama. It has to be a much older actor.

The FL was invited to dinner by the parents as a thank you right after they finished shooting the ad but she couldn't because she had to edit it so she accepted but postponed it. Sheng Yang manipulated the timing of it but it's completely different from what Fang tried to do, especially as the dinner is with his parents instead of just the two of them.

Fang promises to keep an eye on her sister and help her then in return for that, asks for regular private dinners. I am sorry but that is absolutely manipulation where he is playing the personal favor card.

For me that is a major issue and personally I would have removed not just myself but my sister from that man.
