It actually even shows social drinking related to work quite faithfully because it is frankly out of hand. Lots of people despise it but are forced to due to work, sometimes to a ridiculous degree. This drama generated a lot of discussions and quite a few were about this for example because it reflected what people faced in their daily lives.

The problem isn't that they chose a very obviously adult woman to be the FL. The problem is that you see a very obviously adult woman trying to act as if she is a teen with the tone of voice, pouting, blinking, body movements and that is simply cringe worthy. I will stick with it but the beginning is a chore.

They are still in Inner Mongolia. It's probably why Youku didn't say anything, the posters already exist so why bother until they can announce the cast. Anyway the director and screenwriter visited XZ on set of LOCH.

It's one of two versions. There is a main account who pretends to be neutral and the socks and then they interact in between each other. The second option is pure socks with no mains showing up. Like Flawless here, sometimes it is just them and another sock (I remember the name was Yuri on TLP board) plus the main or sometimes solo. It becomes a game to spot them because it will never stop. MDL has no desire to do so.

Forever flawless, another anti sock account (check their reviews 1 star given to both SBMS and TLP) is back I see and of course, in combination with the exact same people. We do remember your names you know.

Anyway, just ignore it. They can't help themselves. Real results always trigger them and having two CCTV dramas over CVB 1 is that. Plus SBMS is one of only 3 dramas that is being rerun on CCTV 1 after CCTV 8 and out of the remaining two, one was WDB. Pure pain for them.

WeTV is Tencent streaming outside of China. XZ and the other old ambassadors all ended their contracts with Tencent. Mostly unsatisfied with promotion of works and their treatment in general. So yes, it's done. Better for XZ, good riddance.

Youku has an investment conference coming up tomorrow where they will introduce TSO. Doubt they will officially announce the cast but maybe there will be some interesting news about the drama.

So today the CCTV 8 broadcast ended. It broke one again so we can claim with certainty the average CVB for the whole drama is going to be above the coveted 1 (current average 1.078 and actually every single episode broke CVB 1). That makes Xiao Zhan the only 90s actor with two dramas higher than 1 and there are some more stats, I will bring it over once the final CVB comes out.

Lol ffs, I am imagining ancient hockey in JOL now. Things like this get so absurd in cent that you just have to laugh or you would end up crying. The guy is a Xinli actor so they won't switch him out but maybe they won't push too hard. It's not fair to any of them who got their roles normally, in JOL or here, but that's cent for you.

For example this screenwriter and Xinli, before SBMS, pulled this exact same thing in another drama, on an even bigger name than XZ. That's why I don't think stuff like this will ever go away, it's just a dirty environment.

Just look at her drama ratings and you will understand. It's the same person who promoted My Journey to You here when SBMS started. Got to trash it now when SBMS is so successful and her faves flopped.

I don't know. YBY was supposed to have a larger, expanded role in the second and third season for sure. So even if they just do that, considering the guy isn't exactly the greatest actor, it's not going to be the best even without the dislike he is dragging. I think Xinli really cares about JOL though so hopefully it ends there and they don't expand it even further so we just have to hold our noses and sit through what would have been YBY anyway without too much damage 🤞
