Hopefully as a punishment in ep 14 they are not following the novel and making her leave the palace. We are done with ep 13 and no hint that she will be a concubine. If they follow the novel it is sure that they will show time lapse as there is Deok ro downfall to be covered. I wish for a moment in ep 14 that touch Deok Im heart enough to make him accept the offer. We have come so far I don't wish to see her being forced to become a concubine . The audience deserves the love they had for each other in history to be expressed onscreen too. Your Highness! Pls grant our wish.

The actress is meant for the role of The Queen Dowager. Every movement of her's is filled with elegance and grace. In her soft tone she told every word that she wanted the king to hear. I am in awe with that character.

This episode all around had such a gloomy feeling. Even the drunk scene I couldn't laugh becoz his eyes conveyed he was suffering and then Deok Im sympathising face. Such a fate, he is The King bt still he feels so powerless throughout the episode. It felt nothing he was doing that he truely wanted to do jst everything in the name of "Duty".

Yes, it was looked down and Yes, such behaviour is not pleasing to the eyes. Bt such scenes exist in the novel and the intensity of them is way too high. So, I felt that ppl should be aware that the drama is jst being true to the novel.

After seeing ep 13 preview a lot of ppl are complaining that he is manhandling Deok Im. Though we are yet to see the whole scene, my opinion is that the story is taking place in an entire diff era. If you read the original novel, Yi san is much more authoritative and obsessed. The drama has tamed down it a lot. Bt if they ardently keep it on the lines of moral ethics that are followed today the essence of the character and even that time period will be lost. Again, In anyway I don't support such behaviour or accept romantiscing manhandling. It is WRONG. Bt, this drama is set under monarch rule and she is a court lady.

Oh! I so was gonna comment the same thing. From ep 9 I have been waiting for his demise. Bt the way he died. Even his last moments were so well executed by the actor. Like when he died I actually felt so sad and teary eyed. He had so much remorse, the struggle with his memory bt still he did his level best. Lee Deok hwa every hand gesture, his voice modulations, the intense to soft gazes, his tears, his anger, his helplessness was conveyed artistically.

She had to pass the Royal seal to the crown prince. That means her father no longer has absolute power. Also, it states to the whole nation that he is equivalent to dead. As, her father was stepping down she would have no control on anyone in the palace. No value of her word. If you follow in ep 11 she was the person who served that food. So that the CP will nt get the Throne.
