Oh! I so agree with you, exactly my thoughts. The main plot doesn't make much sense. The emotions she hold for a decade old relationship is jst not justified. Also, why does Ms Ha parents have a problem. I don't understand. Becoz of the illogical aspects, even their tears don't reach me! For me the plot of Mi sook touches my heart. Everytime she cries I get teary eyed. That sub-plot is well written and also well executed by the support cast.

Well I think they will let the Crown prince know abt this. Becoz, they used the king giving Deok Im a precious novel aspect to reveal the childhood connection. So I am hopeful that page will also find place again in the story. Seeing his actions and words I have a feeling that Hong Ro will not make it to the end. Also in this EP we saw the CP is aware. So, that page can become one of the reasons.

This episode made me realise once again that the person writing the screenplay is a genius. The main characters as well the support is written so well

For me the highlight of this episode is that the Crown prince is aware of "his" people. The fact that he said " how many chances I need to give you to become loyal" after Hong Ro left gave me relief and so did his end words to Deok Im "I knew the moment I saw the signal kite that it is you, it can only be you".

Ok, Ep 9 is like a freaking movie!! DAMNN!! I was jumping on the bed by the end. Also, the way it ended. MY HEART😍😍 Ahhhh!! What an epsiode.. it had thrill, action, soft romance gestures, smart twists. I mean, jst launch this episode in a theatre, it is a blockbuster 😆💗

in the last page, as yi san dies of illness, he dreams of deok im and his son. He lays on her lap as she hurries him to do his rightful work as king. Yi san tells her he plans to take his time off and stay right where he is supposed to be, with Deok Im and his son.

Yesss! Even I felt it bt then this one can be interpreted in lot of ways. Keeping aside that he was jealous, I think with this scene they also want to address the "superior" and "inferior" dynamic. That, her life still depends on him.

I love when actors speak through their eyes and Junho is nailing it for me. His each glance has a different meaning according to the varied situations. One look in his eyes and you know the depth of his feelings♥️

He is protecting her becoz he has feelings for her. On the contrary Deok Im till ep 7 jst saw him as A crown prince she is bound to serve and be loyal. She is a free-spirited character. For her what she feels, her heart is her to control. That scene is the most realistic depiction of that era. Also, he was angry and full of jealously.If you observe he first touches her softly and then uses brief force to assert his dominance and also to make her look in his eyes and see " who is actually in control". Reminding the fact that even if she doesn't want to do something in future he can still make her do that if he wants to!

I agree with you. It is exaggerated. I understand the aspect of a righteous thought defining jealousy bt the way it is executed is difficult to believe. With so much rules and regulations in a Palace, it is way to hard.
