Happy Birthday, my gurl, Zhang Zifeng.. The very young lady who first blew me away with her performance in Aftershock, & hasn't stopped since with her following projects, one after another.
Truly wanna see Girl on Edge, but still cant find it anyway.
Perfect! You have a sensitive and subtle perception! The drama of this post reminds me of paintings by Velasquez…
Ohh..whoa..it's the way you artfully described everything, Miss🫰Precisely what i meant..'the fine ivory' is my favourite phrase today just so you know.
Am with you.. The amount of red colour displayed in both pictures is scanty, but they both have it and it caught one's attention straightaway. And it was spotted in different places & forms..on XFF it was the blood on her body parts, and on XH it was the hue of his garment..as if it was trying to show that them both have this personal pain that are both evident and hidden, they're scarred people but in different ways.
Xue Fangfei always covered in white, because she has clear conscience in reaching her objective which was avenging the injustice her family & Jiang Li had to endure. Whilst Xiao Heng was clad in Black (or any dark colored) attire with patterns, somehow simbolized his dim, shadowy multilayered intentions cause on early episodes we couldn't really figure out what was his actual motive(s) in making A Li his 'pawn'..was it really for the sake of The Emperor & the people or did his personal matter play a major part in his plans!?
I can't believe someone shares the same sentiment with me over this poster 🫶
For me, i find this poster better represents the entire theme of The Double (and the vertical one, too, taken from A Li & Xiao Heng first official meeting at the Zennith(!?) Hall). Intense but also delicate.
This one feels personal & adds some raw emotional nuance to it. It drew me immediately into finding out more about the plot upon seeing it for the first time few weeks before it aired. Wondering why & how did she get hurt in both pictures.
No hate for the previous one though. This one or the previous one doesn't affect my love for The Double whatsoever. 🤌
"Don't be angry Ah Li" Xiao Heng to Ah Li in ep 7 if I am not wrong, right after she helped her cousin Ye Shi…
I've heard about YZ before, and man's reputation precedes him big time. I personally hope his ego wouldn't end up ruin things for Wu Jinyan & Wang Xingyue.
For me, having watch The Double and earlier A Journey To Love and Till The End of The Moon, having debatable endings…
Yasss... There were far more happy things happened to A Li & Xiao Heng to be grateful for than the sad ones after they met. We can't possibly (as we should never) overlook the devastating events happened along the way because those sacrifices made by their closest & loved ones are what made their present lives worth living. In hindsight, all those forlorn moments helped me appreciate the better times even more.

Those chiseled cheekbones and jawline did their job wonderfully.
It helps that WXY's roles are mostly older than his actual age, his manly mannerism alone adds depth to his roles. I can't wait to see him in a rugged look like the one Jing Boran pulled off in Regeneration. He's got what it takes to prove that he's so much more than a fine face, that he's an actor that actually excel at acting first and foremost. Long as he stays humble and hardworking, i know he can do it.
Tell me about it!It's like each time they met, Xiao Heng found another thing he admires A Li for. He gradually…
Am with you..
As if we were walking alongside them in their journey of getting to know each other, slowly peeling off their multilayered feelings kept intact behind their cold and feisty facade. They probably never even imagined before they could be that open with each other they way they did.
We could hardly pinpoint when their feelings began to shift, but we saw and felt that as the time progressed, the fondness & the affection between them grew much stronger and intensified beyond words.
Thank you for dropping the synopsis here @paxxie
Oh..also, if you dont mind me asking, may i know the title of your profile picture? The lady in it seem familiar.

Looking forward to your upcoming project alongside my gal, Li Gengxi, also the other one with Xin Zhilei.
Han Seok Kyu 배우님, can't wait for this to finally air 👌
