Most of the time we took our own family members' presence & their feelings for granted, cuz we thought they would always be around no matter what, until they're not.

You were one of the key reasons i was inclined to check this 1 out..thanks, mate.

It was everything i expected from pure comedy,
not only did i laugh wholeheartedly, i enjoyed the cinematography as well..

Brilliantly scripted, shot, acted & executed..

Btw, remember the eye-liner sequence!?? 🤣
Every scene between Wei Xiang & Zhou Dayong (周大勇, unfortunetaly not listed here), the actor who played Jimmy the Bodyguard of Chen Minghao's role was golden moment 😂

Hard to find proper comedy films like this nowadays.

Am fine with graphic scenes (long as it aint some cannibalism stuff), but after Cc & The Victims' Game, i realized Taiwanese showrunners really know how to make some real raw crime thriller tv series..so i thought wouldnt hurt to know how intense this one would be.

To anyone who has seen this, is it as graphic as Wu Kangren-led's Copycat Killer ?

Isn't Audrey Lin also Li Li in Shu Qi's directorial debut film, Girl ??

What i don't get is how come Audrey Lin who plays the very essential 'Lily' role in the movie isn't even listed on the cast list ??

Also not a single time i saw her promoting the movie along with Dir. Shu Qi & the rest of the cast ??

Cuz people who go thru DV suffer not just physically but also mentally & emotionally that would naturally make them lose their normal appetite..i mean, with all the beatings they have to bear everyday, time and time again, sometimes even right before their very own kids, i find it hard to believe they'd still have any strength left to eat properly.

All they can think abt is to get out of that hellish situation so they can eat like a normal person again without having to worry abt getting beaten up by their so-called spouse regularly.
Hence the drastic weight loss which i find pretty common happen to most dv survivors.

Am into arthouse, crime thriller, pure comedy btw..

Tony Leung Ka Fai has such a strong screen presence, he was one of my top faves..the perfect person to 'challenge' Zifeng's acting prowess..

I havent seen Shadow's Edge yet cuz my watchlist is unbelievably long, but i've been itching to watch it ever since they dropped the 1st trailer..like that smol girl's eyes just shifted like a whole diff person once she immersed herself into any roles..javent found just yet anyone her age with her acting range & capability in K-film industry..

Do you mind sharing why he did that to them ?? I mean like were they responsible for his or his loved ones' suffering or it was just a random shooting ?

Been waiting for that remake as well, i didnt even watch the original cuz 1 one of the leads' acting wasn't convincing enough for me.
But am willing to check out秋雪漫过的冬天 cuz Zifeng & Mark Chao are in it 😄 i know they wont disappoint.
