They're drifting apart cuz HJ feels ~insecure about "being in the shadow of HH".. ;(

It is definitely ~heavily implied that there'll be some competition from HJ's side, in that such a cliché plot usually means he's gonna push away his "more popular" friend to try & do things on his own. There's also been hints towards a "love triangle", but only in the cliché sense where obviously-second lead HH is most likely gonna end up ~unrequited & alone, tsk. If possible, better to wait till it's done airing to see what really happens with everyone.. (unless you're impatiently curious like me, heh) <3

loool I was mainly thinking of HoGu's Love (ehh) & Manhole (omg, all of the main chars were suuper frustrating as heck & rather ~unlikable to boot, but also the plot was really quite funny, pfftt).. ironically, both featured Uee xD

But do try to watch R1988 first, cuz HMIRY is the kind of ~disturbing role that can haunt you for mths afterwards.. & R88's Taekie is too pure to view ~after going thru the messy emotional rollercoaster that is HMIRY, better to experience R88 while ~unscarred.. x.x

I was thinking that it does depend too on which categories one's talking about, ie runway/photoshoots/advertising/etc & I was mostly referring to a combo of the latter types, not just runway stuff, lol. The fact that JGS & also Lee JongSuk & others ~started out in modeling & often mention it in their interviews makes the concept overall more realistic to me. But then I never notice smth like "looks matching certain careers", lol tho hmmm- maybe the reason there's so much less "pretty" male models is cuz the acting world keeps on stealing them all ;P

MDL is not really an app itself, it's a ~website for *tracking* your dramas activity, just like https://MyAnimeList.com another big tracking site but for anime, which also ~has a little "mobile app version" to simply access the site on mobile without visiting in a browser, lol. The top *video streaming* services for ~viewing dramas include Viki & Netflix, plus there's some on YouTube & Hulu as well. Then there's iQiyi, which even has "offline viewing" just like Netflix (Viki, Hulu & YT do not). Most dramas are available in those libraries. That wouldn't really make sense tho because it'd go against his entire reason for being confident- HH's so determined to make it *on his own*, that it's just gonna break his spirit when he finds out that all the progress he made so far was only / mainly because his mother was ~paying for it.. which is exactly the kind of thing that "chaos-thriving" drama writers often go for, to basically set up the story for a big ~fallout btwn them when it happens ;(

Excuse me, I just watched the first episode &- HOW do you expect me to go on after that ~insane ending?! WTF?! I haven't been this sucker-punched by a drama's starting point since ep01 of "Shut Up FBB" (I think) some years back.. that was just ~cruel. But I still have to watch at least one more ep cuz I do everything in pairs & I have this "curiosity addiction" thing.. aarrghh! >.<

I was just going to cmt about it.. ugh. Literally the first (& probably only!) gay character in this story & it's someone who becomes bitter & mean (& also kind of ~threatening, wtf??) after being (rather decently) rejected?? & by someone who's HALF THEIR AGE anyway! AND the jerk ~still holds a grudge about it even years later..(!) pfftt. That whole part just hurt my soul.. other LGBTQ+ viewers shd be ~warned just in case; like both the eps were overall good except that mess which happened in ep02.

Plus it really put a damper on my hopes for HaeHyo (I just really don't want to see him get heartbroken), like it kinda feels he may love HyeJun that way too but is the type to keep it quiet forever to protect their friendship.. & I don't think my heart can handle it- & what is UP with the so-tiired trope of "neglected or ~smothered rich leads ("main" OR "second") getting pushed into ~cliche triangles, often (tho not always) even pitted against someone they've been close to for forever over it"?? The story goes, "here's our pitiful char & here's our more successful (or stable, etc) char, & to "win", try & guess which one will eventually sabotage their friendship over inferiority & jealousy issues.." Bleh!

Fingers crossed for smth better, but not holding my breath. ;(
