Yess, Panda & Hedgehog exemplifies most of what I look for in a good story- cute ppl being awesome, adorkable, trio-shippy, etc & was my first "I loved *everything* about this!" rating, lol- along with Protect the Boss <3 I've probably watched the P&H fanvid featured on my profile over a 100x too, it's just so great! Besides those, my other top dramas include My Love Patzzi & She Was Pretty <3

ROTFL @ "good news, bad news-" yes hotdang, I've got ~endless lists of things to watch, & I still honestly spend ~more time adding even more tons of titles (movies, series etc) to all my various queues on multiple subscriber services across the board, it's insane really, how will I ever get around to watching all of them xD

Idk about percentages re: my Asian drama history, I actually have to recalculate & properly ~rank all the ones I watched, but I'd say the majority are still enjoyable in *some* way cuz I'm picking them mostly based on actor interest / connections, as well as certain plot elements- it's just that my *top* fave qualities are truly ~rare by default, hehe. Yet even when the wonky writing has disappointed me, if the overall acting & characters are good enough to get me in head-over-heels to ~repeatedly watch (& share!) certain fanvids of them, (note the selections on my profile) then that's at least still a half-winner in my book <3

To be completely honest, I ~forget the "endings" most of the time! LOL especially since I spend so much of the "journey" focusing on the journey itself, that by the time it's over, I'm either still in ~denial about it ending (cuz I want mooore, haha), or too exhausted to pay attention anymore (ie when it's "too sad", etc) & then later I have the hardest time remembering what exactly happened.. (& that goes for most all episodic media from any country, lol) yet I guess in some way that ~does make me appreciate "open endings" more in general? depending ~how it's done, of course.. but also, I probably still need to watch about 100 or so more of these "dramas" to find the rare kinds that I ~really enjoy most.. ;P

It really depends on the ~combination of ppl involved.. as there have been bad versions of every type lead (m/f/main/2nd) but also many cases where they're equally ~good.. but yes, I think overall it does come down to just "personal projection".. simply which character(s) the viewer likes better/more, based on various subjective factors.

For me, a poly-shipper at heart, I just mentally ~rewrite everything I dislike in canon, out of habit by now, to be ~mutual & respectful & adorkable, etc cuz I prefer that media type best. Of course, that gets more difficult with certain really "badly written" stories.. xD

- interesting, & btw it's always good to take note of the ~codes just in case.. there are sites to verify which countries have which titles on international versions of Netflix. Well, "long-lasting feelings" are one thing & totally possible for many real-life ppl, but this char himself is so not worthy of anything or anyone! Not only did the writers apparently stack RJ full of horrible clichés, but also making him a "crazy vain insecure drama queen"?? WHYYY.. like stereotypical "gay-coded villains" are sooo outdated! Plus, he was the oldest of the group in college, so he's even closer to ~40s! by now, so the immaturity is even more ~ridiculous! & yeah, AJ has so many issues- if I were DO or YW I'd be *trying* to fall ~out of love with her as fast as possible! They deserve much better- actually at this point, I just ship DO & YW together anyways, lol if only <3

*polyamorous, & it's definitely refreshing to see, especially if they can manage to handle it well instead of just screwing it up with ~tired clichés like other modern series have done.. fingers crossed! <3

This mess just keeps on getting messier.. still no where near the *OT3* it could've been, & these main chars spend 90% of their screentime just looking way too damn ~sad.. ;(((

But the background "trio-ship" with their barely 1-to-2 minute scenes per hour are intriguing! When this is all over, somebody has to compile all their clips together in one video <3

Actually it was shown early on that RJ began disliking DO ever since DO derailed the kiss from AJ back during the sleepover, & it was also shown as in my cmt, the only reason RJ helped DO to get AJ's attn later was cuz he thought for sure that DO wd get ~rejected & DO swore that if she still turned him down even with RJ's help, then he'd give up, but AJ gave in instead.. RJ was *never* interested in being a ~real friend to DO, he merely ended up stuck with him. Anyone else who really knew AJ wd've known she'd never sleep with RJ after DO, even drunk- only he could come up with something that delusional!

RJ is totally ~trash because every single thing he did was only for his own benefit. He never made a single honest move, & he shd've been ~straight with at least DO from the start - "I can't help you because I like her too," lol but nooo.. & sorry but when it comes to *real love*, if it's selfish & greedy, it's not love anymore, it's only ~obsession! Also being "first" in anyone's life is NOT a pass to entitlement, oyyy. Plus now he has admitted, the biggest reason he broke them up was because he seriously thought that she'd go to him next, pfftt. What a foolish traitor!

Btw, RJ KNEW that DO *never* got over losing AJ. HE KNEW DEEP DOWN THAT DO ~WASN'T A CHEATER. He even ~withheld the reason AJ took off & STILL kept quiet when DO was ~suicidal with his confusion about it. RJ IS ~TRASH FOR THAT ACTION ALONE. Such a horrible secret to keep at such an important time to talk.

DO's world was falling apart & he had *no one* to truly be on his side, only insecure & selfish ppl arnd him. If only they had trusted DO, if he'd had genuine, supportive, patient & honest ppl instead.. then he could've had confidence to be more honest about his financial situation too, preventing misunderstandings. Ugh, the tragedy.

*cough* && this is why my ~altverse is the only thing making all the suffering thru the canon messes worth it.. happy DO & YW & a much more sensible AJ who followed their dreams *together* thru college & ~beyond, then raising a very-loved & never-lied-to HN <3333 #IdwatchTHATdrama

I wonder how they reacted when he actually made it & became the bestseller that he is now?? did his father ever apologize for doubting him? ;(

& cuz it's exactly the kinda cliché for this story to pull last-min: does DO still have the ring??

(honestly tho, I stopped shipping my main goal trio here together ~ages ago, lol actually I just replaced AJ with "happiness".. please let DO&YW find real love that's not only truly returned in-kind, but from someone who'd never hurt them with any "disappearing act"!)
