Yeah, I already covered that part.. point was, AR is really no "victim of circumstance" like she was being painted as in the prior cmt. She was free to turn down the role, but accepted it anyway; she could still date *anyone else* actually interested in her, if she really wanted to put in the effort (& respect those who are taken, etc); & overall, she's the ~furthest thing from an "underdog" possible, lol.. ;P

^ thiiisss & it's something that has bothered me the entire series.. if anything, what was MOST damaging to HN was not that she "didn't have a father" but that she was *lied to* about her father! you don't go telling a child to imagine their father as "just better off dead"! & ESPECIALLY when they're not even a ~criminal nor any kind of real bad guy!! heck ANY other kind of story wd've worked until she was old enough to know the truth, but AJ expected to lie to her daughter for the rest of her life?? wtf that's just wrong.. >.<

YW's backstory broke what's left of my poor heart.. imagine having a "mother" who was not only HAPPY that you got ~injured, but also ~delighted that you could no longer follow your biggest dream?? She really just wanted to *control* him ~forever?? No wonder he considers AJ the only one who was truly there for him, she changed his life by opening his mind to his full potential. AJ may have screwed up most everything else, but least she did one thing right.

Then, knowing how hurt AJ&HN are by the tabloid mess, YW ~willingly offers to give up!! his *freedom* to try & help them- to go MOVE BACK IN WITH HIS CONTROLLING MOTHER & "do whatever she says"- now THAT's love! (take notes, RJ!) REAL LOVE is consideration for OTHER's feelings OVER your own, & ~choosing to just take yourself OUT of the equation for their own good, & without resentment or bitterness to those who may take your place.

That's the big difference btwn RJ & YW: delusional RJ ~sabotages his career to try & STEAL a family that he screwed up on purpose (also, how *brainless* does one have to be to think that the person they betrayed so selfishly would ever agree to date them??) while YW essentially risks his entire future (ie, agreeing to a possible loveless marriage to some rich girl just to try & please his mom) all to *protect* said family ~even if he's not a part of them.. <333

YW always seemed the type to sacrifice himself once he got even a little bit of the truth, now he has. I just hope what he said to AR makes her think twice too. Initially, all he wanted was a chance, but he was never going to be one to ~cheat or steal his way to AJ's heart.

Now if only I could get some really cuute scenes of YW & DO with HN in the remaining eps..

RJ was *never* any kind of "friend" to DO, he only begrudgingly accepted him as an ~acquaintance once DO started hanging arnd AJ, & even admitted out loud that he was always still hoping that AJ would see himself as "date-worthy" ~after breaking up with DO.. >.< I summarized RJ's timeline in an earlier cmt: https://kisskh.at/49735-begin-again#comment-3857473

Also, hell yeah that matters!! To say that smth bad "wd've happened anyway" in any bad situation is just an ~excuse to justify horrible actions.. there's no way this entire mess wd've happened if these ppl coulda just been *honest* with each other to begin with! But then there wd've been no messy-af story.. u.u

yeah *AJ* met YW there, not her mom, seemingly on his first visit, but I was referring to the ~mystery of how he got so ~close with her mother in the time after (close enough to the point that she remembers him ~fondly).. ie we were never told if YW hung out with AJ at home, so it's another plothole- plus surely DO wdve also visited AJ's workplace if only to bring her smth like food etc? siighh.. but as for the house, HN said she's been to 10 diff schools, felt implied that they've moved a lot the past 14yrs, not stayed in the same place..

well, time for the new ep- *bracing myself for agony*

exactly, like she must've introduced her mom to YW at some point, so how did she then go almost an entire year with DO never meeting her mother?? & worse, her mother never even knowing his name?? how??

Wasn't no "few years back", but a whole decade & a half ago.. & it was specifically claimed that AR changed "every single thing about herself" to be unrecognizable on ~purpose (but with that said, they shd've just had a diff actress portray her young).

Where did it say that AR "couldn't get a boyfriend" as HS? Kind of limits your options when you only ~want one person anyways.. & they're just uninterested & ~taken. But that does not make anyone a "loser", what kind of outdated mentality is that?

AR got the LIN part because 1. she's a TOP succcessful actress already & 2. Jenn *picked* her to be on the list as an ~impossible catch, expecting her to be too busy to say yes (&/or thinking RJ would never accept her as a costar due to their rivalry).

The only real "baggage" she has right now is just that she likes to smoke & she's lying to the public about it, lol. Oh, & she ~dislikes messy little kids. AR is merely a shallow person who let other ppl's opinions control her life just to get the attn she craves ("Asia's Angel"). Yet she simultaneously thinks she can still manipulate other ppl & get away with it.

There's been literally ~nothing to "cast" her a "loser" about.. certainly no "handicaps"! (??) She has beauty, & she had some "brains"- the only problem has been her ~baad attitude! If anything, she's more like just a rude fool, for forcing a kiss on DO when he was taken with AJ. That's still plenty bad enough tho, & if she ever wants real love, she's gotta grow up.

Now the selfish idiot that is RJ, ~definition of a major "loser" right there!! "Okay, so it's my fault you never heard from DO back then, buut you could still give me a chance to be your lover, yeah? I wannabe a dad to your kid who lost time with her real one cuz of me!" Pfftt..

Feels like that's ~99% of all these actually ~fake "triangles+" that claim to be "relevant" &/or equal etc but are really just extra plot contrivances.. blegh. I need smth ~different, unique, unexpected- where *no one* gets left out & it's not just "pairing up spares" either. But we can barely get a ~basic cute story *without* a tragic history behind it, so.. ;(

LOL & thaaank you.. #n#" still can't believe it took til the ~70%!! mark to get some honesty up in here & it's still as messed up as ever.. I really do just wanna kno what even were the creators "thinking" when they had this tragic-af idea?? ugh..

Worst stand-out moments:

AJ finally finds out the DO really never got her msgs - BUT THEN AJ DOESN'T TELL DO NOR APOLOGIZE TO HIM FOR HINGEING HER HUGE DECISION TO ALTER THEIR ENTIRE LIVES ON A *MOBILE SERVICE*!

AJ also DIDN'T! AT THE! VERY! LEAST! ~smack!! ultimate douche RJ who blatantly says he "DOESN'T REGRET" his greedy selfish-af moves, ONES THAT EFFECTIVELY TORE APART A FATHER & DAUGHTER FOR ~~14YRS, WTF?! && ~especially after said idiot STILL ASKS TO BE CONSIDERED AS A LOVER PFFTT DELUSION MUCH!!

I'm still fuming over the reveal that RJ was never a ~real friend to DO. No wonder RJ never even defended DO or asked DO his side of what happened, he never even told DO about how AJ saw him "kissing a girl"! But whyyy in the world would such a ~fake "friend" stay in touch all these years with the person he hated?! ARGHH!!

& AJ not only kept her daughter & her daughter's father in the dark but also her own mom.. did she honestly expect this to NEVER eventually blow up in everyone's face?? Then when the truth ("mostly") comes out, she thinks that she can just tell the father to "walk away"?? Plus when they come across the old boss, she proclaims if he never did what he did, she could've kept her lies a secret for the rest of her daughter's life..

&& DO finally remembers the student who kissed him, but doesn't tell AJ what really happened. Instead he just keeps apologizing for his own insecurities.. siighh.

More than ever, I want DO & YW to **move on** from AJ. I need AJ's mom to find out the ~whole truth, every bit of it. When YW rushed to stop her from hitting DO, who was just standing there in shock, oh my heart.. <3

YW's advice at the schoolyard was reasonable, HN *should* get to hear it ~first from her mom, & hanging around at the school can be complicated. (Of course it ~could've been said more softly, but I'm not expecting anything from these writers anymore)

Tho from the preview, it's more likely gonna get ~crazier anyways.. oyyy.

^ I've said this elsewhere referring to / inspired by this series, & this episode just makes it even more painfully obvious.. but I'll have to put my full rant in ~spoiler cmt, cuz arrghh!!

There's absolutely "no love" here, no real "romance", only ppl who ~think that they know what's better for everybody else, without ever seriously ~communicating how they really feel & even more importantly without even thinking of ~respecting how other people feel. Plus, now this messy writing is even spilling over to the poor kids' interactions with each other.. whyy??

Also, everytime that I see RJ now, I feel *physically sick* (& it doesn't help that there was actual "ramen-tossing" in this ep, ugh) like, I ~despise this char with a force of a thousand suns! & that awkward "dramatic? music" they keep playing (clearly for "comedic" effect) during all his scenes.. that sounds like smth from a western or a telenovela or ??.. PLZ MAKE IT STOP!!

But the biggest mystery of all: What exactly is the point of this ~dumpster fire~ of a story having such a ~cuute opening theme?! It's like a wicked psychological *fake-out* every episode.. >.<

With the original title "Begin Again", the cliché is she'd get with the ~ex.. ;P

Plus the deck here is stacked a ~different way.. the money isn't a factor xD

But it's only just over halfway thru & anything can still happen by Aug27..

Oyyy, how many misunderstandings can they fit in this thing?? LOL omg I think that might make it even ~worse, to me like damn.. then DO's suffering wd've been even moreso "all for ~nothing".. Idk if I could handle that.. AJ did say she also noticed that the girl was even wearing DO's clothes, which implies that AR(HS) also created an accident back then too.. ugh, I'm both dreading & waiting to see DO's pov of that night.. ;(

Exactly, I got a ~lot of laughs out of it! ;P Especially with all of the promo the main cast did all the time everywhere, it was kind of "unavoidable" & so I would just get drawn into the trio-shippy & slashy teases.. forever dreaming of that being a canon twist in tired "triangles" <3 #somedayyy
