Simply cuz it's the old "doppelgänger" trope, lol.. when after losing a ~loved one (usually a female) you later run into someone who looks ~exactly like them.. *cue feelings* been used a few times before in dramas.. so it's likely just a throwback to that ;P

"Quite a bit". .? Forming a ~fake/insincere friendship with someone just cuz they like your crush (as explained that way onscreen), only helping said person "woo" your crush cuz you were sooo suure they'd be ~rejected, even using one of those efforts to conceal your own "confession", wtf.. then spending every day of their new relationship ~resenting that poor friend.. & as soon as a misunderstanding happens, not defending that friend even ~once, instead just making the situation worse & trying to get attn on yourself.. & escalating to the point of ~preventing communication btwn them, taking advantage of your dumb crush's ~inability to deal face-to-face to keep them apart.. then when your crush disappears from both your lives, staying with the clueless friend out of.. what? nostalgia? guilt? Ugh. That is soooo NOT "love". Just ~obsession. The very least RJ could've done was to help them work their issues out. But no, he quietly stood by while DO nearly died from heartbreak.. then acts like he did DO a ~favor? Just cuz DO went on to write a lil book about "lost love" that totally coincidentally become a bestseller?? Pfftt.

It's because AR (as highschool student HS in 2006) is the only one so far who's ~forced a kiss on someone whom she knew was taken & not interested, which happened even sometime ~after her confession & rejection. So she *blatantly* violated DO's trust in her to respect his *obvious* choice. Even the traitorous coward RJ didn't sink that low.. && what if the roles had been fully ~reversed? Perhaps if DO had actually caught RJ kissing AJ (by force/surprise, tho it "wdve ~appeared otherwise" to DO), wd DO have just blamed AJ & took off? I hope not. But RJ wdve been even worse of a person for it, a "lowest of the low" move.

UGH, using gaypanic & "haha queer ppl are ~funny to just think about lolz" type stupidity scenes as the ~dumbest of jokes shd stay left in the far past.. because of that, the first 4-or-so hrs felt like some ~90s reject or worse.. tho it eventually moves over that but right on into Boringville, & hasn't got much better; the only real light story-wise, is a surprisingly progressive background character in one of HJ's friends, who despite being divorced, has continued to date her ex-husband & is now ~openly dating another guy too.. ;O

All I can say is these main actors are lucky they're ~cuute! What a mess of a story.. loss of so much potential (as usual) & the only real good thing to look fwd to btwn the main ~OT3 is my pondering how I could rewrite/edit each & every one of their scenes to be ~truly trio-shippy.. if only <3

BUT OMG- IS THAT AN ~ACTUAL *POLYSHIP* PROGRESSING IN THE BACKGROUND?! Okay, I'm sticking around for them too, lol. Let's see if at least they can ~seriously make it work! xD

Depends- if you're only interested in "physical action", then not really.. but if you're ~open to ALL kinds of romance in matters of the heart, then at its center is a ~deeply emotional & initially tragic love story between two ppl who find their way back to each other. <3

I know this type of addiction well.. after all, I'm the kind of fool who has watched a series in a genre I don't even like ("horror", eugh) for ~15 looong seasons totaling 300+ episodes of frustrating messiness & somehow STILL gets disappointed (?!) when it's finally announced to be coming to an end.. like, what even is life? xD

But at least there's awesome fan-made media inspired by it <3

Just watched the 9th hour of My Fellow Citizens, ~still so epic & intense & kept me ~cracking up! <33 The impressive plot twists keep on coming & the music is extremely fun ;P

I like tracking everything I watch because I have to or I'd forget my place all the time LOL I actually keep a notebook that logs all episodic & film media viewing- including even webcomics too xD

Sweet, I will most likely be pairing that with Fight For My Way, lol looking forward to them both! xD

That's exactly what I was figuring as I summarized DO's actions in a previous cmt below.. plus as a drama-viewer (as well as a *wannabe* future storyteller), AJ shdve been a ~lil more savvy to pick up on such simple signs, pfftt.. I know after ~years of media viewing of various types I myself am extremely "genre-knowledgeable" LOL so there is likely literally ~nothing that'd ever really surprise me or make me freak out to that extent, well at least not without me doing a full ~investigation first (I'm very ~thorough) xD

Haha, I'm actually still only 75% into SWP - only just started this year (5yrs laate, I kno LOL) - & it became an immediate *top* fave! I ~always knew I'd really like it, but I actually love it - the OT4 is epic & plus, my first serious f/f ship & one that's practically canon, oh my heart! I have it paired with Flower Boy Next Door (also late) but I paused them to watch smth else- I heard about To All the Guys & got too curious to wait, figuring if it was really bad (& omg, it sooo is, lol tho in entirely ~diff ways than this one!) I could just go back to the much better awesomeness of SWP later on <3

So, being the kind of person who likes to pair things of similar lengths, themes, etc- SiWon's MFC piqued my interest due to also being a "split-hours" type like TATG was listed as (tho Viki ended up posting TATG by the hour anyways, haha) & well, matching SWP actors ;P (I like to do that too; ie after Goblin, I looked up Biscuit Teacher & My Girl, for GY & LDW)

SiWon seems to have a gift for craack tho- I vaguely remember him being ~fairly "normal" in Oh My Lady, but he was one of the *best* & ~funniest parts of King of Dramas, & then he's "normal" yet still so hilarious in SWP, but in MFC? baack to craacktastic major.. feels like a totally different character <3

That's what gets me the most- they write her as ~lamenting that it's "not only her that's gonna get hurt NOW" when SHE's the one who has really hurt her daughter ~all these years! >n< Like okay, I can see using ~hormones as an excuse for making such a bad decision "in the moment", but sticking to it over the last *decade*+??

Ugh, I just wanna have a conference now with all the folks involved who actually thought this was ~acceptable to write & film as a "cheery" story.. -.-

Everything she ~suspected about him, she made up in her own mind. He was not even purposely ignoring her, he was working & she showed up early, but they had a dinner scheduled for later that night. The gift was very likely a surprise for ~her later, that he wasn't ready to give just yet, because he was busy working. That was a single scene, not like it was a montage of him missing dinner after dinner after dinner. She just got way too impatient. So yes, honestly in that situation I would be more understanding. I would not jump to conclusions because I don't imagine things about ppl in my real life. The one other thing that we see with him on the picnic, his genuine concerns about early marriage were totally valid- he was even worried about being able to ~support her, as any decent partner would. But with the amount of passion he had, he was probably planning to do smth big for her, like saving for a ring & a home, etc.

I could never ditch a person like that ~unless they told me *right to my face* that they did not want to be with me anymore. But then again, I'm a similar personality type to DO, so.. communication is *everything* & even the times I'm bad at it myself, I'd still never want anyone else to give up on me that easily cuz ~I'd never give up on them.

Thanks for the rec! Altho I personally do gravitate towards most "love triangle" stories (it's a ~curse of an interest, lol siighh), I also occasionally enjoy "found family" ones with workplace hijinks xD

Honestly I just watch for the ~cuute.. I've watched a LOT of "crappy" things in my lifetime just for the cuteness.. so I still love the opening theme of this series & the version that I rewrote in my mind with like ~1000% LESS stupidity ;P

From the very beginning, I felt RJ was involved but at the same time was also kind of ~hoping that he wasn't or wasn't ~as complicit.. yet this?? is sooo much *worse* than anything I imagined!! I mean, him being "proactive" in keeping DO&AJ apart BACK THEN might've been maaybe more forgivable now IF he was at all at least somewhat reasonably repentant & ~apologetic about it but nooo instead he's still as rude & greedy & delusional as ever.. >.<
