I agree, LDW (never watched him before) reminds of KJW in Mary, lol so super stoic but with a tendency to react with perfect exasperated expressions xD

Sigh, straight ships get ALL the awesome stories, lol by the time same-gender romance is finally accepted in the mainstream, there won't be anything "original" left ;P I just can't help thinking how cool would it be if the story was ~slightly different.. Goblin/Reaper FTW!

In Ji, my problem wasn't so much the ending, as the wasted opportunities along the way leading up to it. To me, such exaggerated immaturity was just painful, cliché, etc. So now I'm even rewatching a similar older fave just to reset my frustrations, lol: My Love Patzzi, a cuute, ~mature OT3 that only lasted 10 eps (& I still want more tho!) ^-^

Don't forget Beethoven Virus- I'm slowly watching King of Dramas to savour each & every epic ep, lol & BV seems pale in comparison but in BV the scale is smaller, the genre fairly diff, & MyungMin's char much more cold.. which makes his connection to the two ppl who end up involved with him all the more ~fascinating.. xD (unfortunately no one has vidded them yet, pfftt lol still waiting! I mean, that airport scene alone..)

I had major problems with the writing of JI, especially how they ~destroyed their potentially epic bromance & tried to brush it off with a ~rushed reconciliation at the end.. but what cuute they DID have, was oh-so-precious like that sleep hug scene, oh my heart, lol..

Checked your dramalist out of curiosity & if you'd like to try some even better bromances, then you might really enjoy these recs:

Panda & Hedgehog (baby soulmates!!! tragically separated until randomly reunited years later due to CAKE! & snarky dorky love ensues), Protect the Boss (business rivals with issues of sheltered lives lol), High School Love On (is love stronger than a paranormal force that tries to break them up?? writing probs aside, this one was still full of various good things), Beethoven Virus (it's rather subtle here, but so very sweet).. ^-^

So much lost potential, I am even ~used to mentally rewriting problematic plots but this series had my poor brain working overtime! But I stuck it out cuz 1. insatiable curiosity, for firsthand experience & 2. the actors had alrdy grown on me, lol (including the background characters, who also got overall cheated, story-wise). Have chocolate etc on hand! xD

A lot of suffering, until the last eps. JW is reduced to a pushy, clingy, arrogant shell of what he started out as & could have been. Ditto issues for the others. But it's all just brushed over in the end. So, watch for the ~cuute, but also bring lots of extra strength memory-altering meds for all the unnecessary angst. ^-^

It was done near the very end, in only a minute's total scenes. Felt rushed. >_<
