I actually did started watching cuz my curiosity got the best of me & sucked me in lol I'm only up to ep04 so far tho but still couldn't resist checking for spoilers.. sigh.
Even if they were going to go the cliche route eventually it's a shame to have not taken advantage of the high OT3 potential while they had it, I remember being especially disappointed when Mary Gets Married had let me down similarly (yet still loved it overall, lol) with its own OT3.
Oh well, 6 more eps to go til it's over, 20 for me to see if it matches up to my own previous faves! ^-^

Had to return the favor- your description of this series with the male lead having TWO knights is just perfect, lol it's going on my to-watch list asap! I'm a sap when a trio takes care of each other, it's a main reason for the majority of my top faves, & other upcoming watches like She is Pretty (I got semi-spoiled by adorkable fanvids! ie this super-short one: https://youtu.be/_GW2MMqu1Ts hehe) ~ whenever I hear that there's a decent amt of slashiness to mix up the cliche m/f pairings in a drama, I'm so there! Especially with potential for OT3's xDD

Yess, I prefer truly vague triangles too! Especially if they get trio-shippy, lol which I also really enjoyed here, whatwith Gunnie & Kang ending up being roomies & even getting their own sort-of airport scene, haha. I definitely wanted more of them! So it got a 9 overall from me, & bonus points cuz I never felt bored despite the rather repetitive issues that kept coming up.
Aaah, I watched BV almost a year ago (?!) & only just this week started King of Dramas, & I'm alrdy halfway in! Total drama satire there, which I'm balancing out with an actual melodrama, Daddy's Girl (purely for my Panda OTP, DongHae & JinHyuk).. it's an interesting ride so far haha xD "Ansony" is even more fascinating than KGW! Depending on how the next half goes, looking like another 9-10 rating.. *fingers crossed* ;P

If RuiXi felt off to start, her char will either keep annoying you, or eventually grow on you, or both, lol. I took a year? to finish it but ended up enjoying almost every ep, mostly due to Jiro!! all being so adorkable (even while too often quite over-the-top ridiculous, haha) & especially the DOCTOR MeiTian omg lovelovelove how he could project SO MANY many emotions all with the same deadpan expression LOL from being ~bothered to ~unsettled to ~mischievous rotfl kept cracking me up & also Quan's smile tho rarely seen amidst all that angst, lol still so worth it! xD

Tho that was ~CAKE to watch compared to the ~agony of Goong (the first), yowza. (I finished it the slow way cuz I'm a completist, I never fastfwd & can only drop when forced, ie due to unavailability, but I do procrastinate a lot when needed.. ;P lol)

This drama is really all about two closed never-shown-love souls being brought to life by another open kind & gentle soul. While the writing may have typical issues due to using cliches & resorting to tropes instead of trying for smth truly original, the story itself is full of HEART & cuuteness. Such a shame you will likely never get to experience that kind of emotional intelligence, to see good beyond superficial flaws.
