Yeah, my viewing choices tend to be mostly ruled by my insatiable curiousity, so it will depend on just how much I get attached to the chars themselves.. besides, it seems about 90% of most things annoy me, so I usually accept it as ~inevitable, lol ;P (otherwise I probably wouldn't watch anything at all..) No, they did not- but the events implied it enough for him to be the one who believed it first. She only decides to go along with it after her friend pressures her that it would be better than trying to get by as a single mom, something that apparently is still looked down upon in their society, which could understandably make an already emotionally fragile person even more desperate for stability. But I do see your point, & I was wary of the storyline too.. yet the positive ending (& a family being raised in love) was worth the trip. Only thing that could have improved it, is if that demon had ended up in jail for what he did to the girl.. ugh. At least the family did seem to get their happy-ever-after tho! xD
