There was definitely hint about Osung liking Jaeboom in ep 12, once again. So as I see it, he kinda liked both him and his step sister, in messed up kind of way.

Well, the truth is, that many killings don't have a big/any reason.

Osung and Jihyun wouldnt kill because of it, their parents were barely together at that time, they werent married... It wouldnt be a big scandal. And I really can't picture them to be dating at all, it would make zero sense. If Osung just one sidedly liked her, there would be no evidence.

Now that I rewatch the basketball scene, it doesn't seem that Osung looks at Jihyun, but rather at Chanmi. I just don't believe he likes her or that it was that important to the story. It wouldnt make sense. Or... It looked more like "Hey, look. I will hurt/win over guy, you like", out of spite, not jealousy/love.
