Maybe they're discovering that not many 16 episode dramas stick their landing? If a 16 episode drama stands out,…
The goal is to sell as many product placements as possible & have a high viewership for them and for the additional ad breaks.
It doesn't matter if the audience disliked the last episode as long as they watched it and generally speaking if someone (especially domestic viewers) gets to e12-13 they will finish the drama.
This is why the writing quality almost ALWAYS drops, even in relatively good dramas near the end. There is a writing team & once they are no longer motivated to do their best, they just won't care. Most of the time writing happens while the drama is airing, there is a main writer & some interns & they work overtime to grab your attention with their witty dialog and everything, they will typically not do that for the final episodes, let's go home early, since it does not matter anymore. Let's prepare for our reward vacation instead.. (for example Marry My Husband's crew is already getting a reward vacation, but a tolerable ending is quite a bit up in the air, the plot certainly spiraled out of control, novel or not I have doubts if they are even willing to recover from this)
Why are korean script writers so obsessed with screwing up their stories? Like no, not every single drama needs…
The final plots in the comic are insane in the sense that it's unlikely they would show something like that on TV.
So what is happening now is complete divergence from the tried and true comic story. Korean scriptwriters tend to not care about writing coherent endings, because typically the ratings will not drop much anyway. So yeah, the scriptwriter has to pull something new from her ass, when the drama offered a lot of buildup for something else and do all that while having very little incentive to actually try to do a good job.
>They have hung out together but why are they not showing us that?? In the comic timeline we have not had much…
It's almost exactly as you heard, but a bit worse :-D
They do have some love dovey scenes later, but the comic completely drops common sense after the main story is over, so I don't think we'll see that crazy double watch proposal in the drama.
Noooo!! Let's not break them up, pleaase. So far their communication has been so good so I hope they solve that…
>They have hung out together but why are they not showing us that??
In the comic timeline we have not had much more either at this point, changes or not. Whether we get any more or not, I don't know, but the comic had a really stupid plot involving EH& HY that I wouldn't mind not seeing on screen.
Did anyone else see this stupid title on Allkpop or its just me - '''Marry My Husband' viewers say they only pay…
I kind of understand why. The problem is not the leads being less great, but rather people who typically read this drama's summary & then start watching tend to be not the types that enjoy peaceful romance or time travel.
I did not really like Na In Woo in anything before, but here everything is working out for him nicely, well based on the first episode. (acting, style etc)
i've always loved shin hyesun's work but this time round her acting seemed way unnatural. wonder if she found…
I think she did not take this role very seriously, nor did the director take the drama very seriously, because there were some scenes that were quite immersion breaking & all it would have taken to fix this is to call out the ng.
If you think about it, this is quite normal. If in the work environment people are not very professional, it will be much harder to force yourself to care.

I fear that might not happen here, I guess we'll have to see.
