I will be reading all recommendations regarding this, maybe I'll find another hidden gem like this :)
Love Class (I find this one to be ostracized for no reason. I just wish it was longer), Kimi no Koto Dake Mite Itai, A Distant Place, About Youth, Muchuu-sa, Kimi ni (not marketed as BL, but it doesn't take being gay to realize this show is queer. queer asf. lol)
oh... I've been withstanding a lot lately (we all have)... not embarassed to say I cried when the credits started rolling. beautiful piece of media that is going to stay with me for years (if I try my hardest) to come. Jae Won, we'll make it together.
I don't have anything to say. I'm not even going to say anything. I probably shouldn't have watched these episodes, given the other events of today. Now I just feel worse.
screw what anyone says, this show is great. it’s mindless, sure, but the characters are anything but flat. Cher is probably one of my favorite characters, ever.
the absolute hell of a week this wait is going to be aside (I'm petrified), Im Ji Sub is an enamoring actor. he jumps through the screen. he's beautiful, mind and soul.
this an amateur short film (movie, basically), and somehow I think that made it even better. the lighting is fucked up half of the time, and then at some parts it's breathtaking, the sound is funky, and then they get to these clicks and off-switches that turn the screen black and it's really charming, there's also... no music? as far as I remember. the entire thing is dead silent.
it's also non linear, so I also had no idea what was going on until I sat for a few minutes afterwards and thought about it. it's different, certainly something a group of passion filled young people made. I really want to be their friend.
I could say that the acting is awkward, but it really isn't. they felt real. or maybe that's because I'm also awkard. the dialouge is pretty vague, or maybe that's because the english subtitles are vague and I had to attempt to translate the rest with my subpar japanese.
either way, if you want to watch something different, something that is going to leave you with an impression (albeit it everlasting, or only for a few minutes, or two weeks from now), I would offer you to watch it. it's not extravagent in the general sense of the word, but it's strange. I like quiet, strange things.
P.S. my favorite shot was when they were playing in the snow. I'll think about it in reflections of car windows.
Bokura no Shokutaku is based off of a manga of the same name. Just read it.
it's been a few years since I've read this manga, so forgive me, but Yutaka was told as a child that eating with him is uncomfortable or off-putting, because of his awkward and shy nature. being told this as a child (like some people, being scared when they knock over water glasses, because their parents used to scream at them, or throw things when it happened), it ate away at him. I myself have been reprimanded for being too quiet while eating, making myself "creepy." it's weird, trying to please people.
Wow. 6 hours to go. Ep 7 and 8 will be released. Most likely Ep 8 will be where the truth will be revealed. Can't…
I haven't read the manhwa, so if I'm just making this up and I read the subtitles wrong, then forgive me. but Tae Joon already knows. that's why he told Dong Hee that he is the reason that Won Young is here, and what's keeping him here.
the direction is very european, which is most definitely due to Werner du Plessis. but that also causes me to be reminded of SKAM. this show reminds me of SKAM, but... slower? stick those big yellow time stamps in and I would go "whoa! SKAM Korea, when did that happen?"
The Eighth Sense is trying to do something different, and they're doing it well. it's human, awkward (Ji Hyun, I love you, but you give me so much second-hand embarrassment. In fact he reminds me of Isak from the SKAMverse. LOL).
it seems The Menace has reliquished. the last time this many people came together, they tore down the Berlin Wall. let us live in peace and harmony until further notice. one thing's for sure, we've had a bonding experience.
Lol I blocked them so I logged out to see their bromance post. Can we please kill the idea that romance isn't…
my favorite part is when he called you a social justice warrior ????? for using the word queer. bro is crazy. bro is out of this world. bro is off of his meds, probably.

I think this film may be my own self-corruptive yellow book.
